Life & Work with Harrison Myles of Los Angeles

Today we’d like to introduce you to Harrison Myles.

Harrison Myles

Hi Harrison, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
In a family of six growing up in South Florida with three other siblings, I was always the loud one seeking attention. My mom and dad did the best they could, however I wasn’t always heard, so using my imagination was the baseline for my entertainment and inclusion. As a kid in the 90’s and early 2000’s, watching sci-fi movies like Jurassic Park, Star Wars, and The Matrix piqued my interest in filmmaking, and comedians like Jim Carrey, Al Pacino and Adam Sandler drew my interest to acting. Video games were big for me too, not only were they a huge creative outlet, but they were my solace. Today, video games are so much more to me. Now integrating them deeply into my impact here in Hollywood as I actively and bridge the gap between gaming and filmmaking. Video games have become my very inspiration for telling riveting, original stories leading me to write several award winning feature films. As someone who wasn’t connected to anyone in Hollywood, I didn’t have much opportunities in the biz, not to mention my family wasn’t the most supportive of my Hollywood dreams. So if I wanted a truly career in show business, the only way I was going to get it is if I made my own opportunities – build my own door and walk through it. So I did, and today, I’m a multi-hyphenate filmmaker and cross media producer in Hollywood running the independent cross-media company known as ENF. My most recent feature film “Writer’s Block” has a unique twist on its creativity – it’s fully improvised and it’s also my directorial debut. The goal for “Writer’s Block” is to have a theatrical release in select theaters before hitting streaming platforms this year. I could not have made this uniquely fantastic film without the help of all the passionate, talented individuals who helped make it, they are the heart of Hollywood. In 2023, I founded the POP Initiative; a community building movement for passionate creatives pushing the boundaries of originality, ambition & imagination. In 2025 I launched a cross-media IP called “The Hollywood Gamer”, a talk show where Hollywood meets gaming. My meticulously crafted detailed vision, and my unwavering commitment to deliver excellence in original storytelling is boundless and there’s nothing more that I love in this world than making movies! And I would like to think that my efforts of today – building a collaborative, creative community that develops quality cinema and storytelling plays a significant role in the industry’s turning point.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Like every person who has ever lived, we all have our struggles. I have suffered too much loss, many failures, impossible hardships and severe bullying as kid, but its how we come out because we don’t allow our these hardships or our trauma to define us or even determine our future. It’s important to keep your head up, your light shining bright, and your positive mentality front and center. Be unapologetically you. People enter and exit your life when they are supposed to.

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
Since my first movie audition in 2008, you can find me in various projects from independent films, short films, commercials and even big budget studio films on an international scale such as “Dostana”. With several writing awards for screenplays on my hands and already one of them made into a movie, the exciting journey to bring these amazing stories to life has just begun. I run a cross-media company called ENF which we shot our recent feature film under. Our mission is to build a new kind of entertainment ecosystem — one that unifies film, gaming, digital media, and community into a single creative network. We passionately develop original intellectual properties across multiple mediums — movies, series, podcasts, talk shows, video games, music, and live experiences — all connected by a shared devotion, determination & commitment to quality, authenticity, and creative innovation. At its core, ENF Media aims to inspire audiences and future generations through impactful stories that reflect passion, originality, and a relentless pursuit of creative evolution. In addition, bridge Hollywood and the gaming culture to coexist and push the creative bounds in both respective fields. We also aim to produce high-value, emotionally resonant works that stand the test of time.

As host of “The Hollywood Gamer”, I’m actively bridging the gap between film and gaming and slowly bringing these two mediums together.

Operating on the passionate flames of ambition, my burning DESIRE to INSPIRE has led me to start the POP Initiative. POP (Passion over Profit) is designed to identify and bring together the like-mined, passionately obsessive creatives next in line to lead the charge in film and tv. The MISSION is to bring true quality back to Hollywood and your living room TV. By discovering, expanding, connecting, collaborating, and creating together, our generation of filmmakers can lay the foundation for the future and bring forth a new era in filmmaking reminiscent of the Golden Age of Hollywood, thus securing the New Golden Age of Cinema.

As a writer, director, actor, producer, show host, mentor and leader, its my duty to help others just as passionate and obsessed with this as me so that we all can live in a world where film, tv, gaming, and all entertainment media is of the highest quality with the most passionate people developing them.

Can you tell us more about what you were like growing up?
I was loud, some would call me annoying and I was always seeking attention. In addition to video games, I played outside a lot as a kid. I was quite the roller skater, taking up hockey and skate parks with during the Tony Hawk craze. I also love fishing, always have for some reason. It always brought a certain calmness and creativity to me. I was in the local South Florida paper for catching a eight pound peacock bass when I was nine years old. My favorite video games that really shaped me are Final Fantasy IX and X, Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic, and the Elder Scrolls Four: Oblivion.
