Today we’d like to introduce you to Felicia Linsky
Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
I am a Fine Artist with a background in Pre-Med, Theatre, Film and Fashion.
My education is in Arts and Science.
I am innately drawn to the Arts, Healing, Storytelling, and love people, connecting and collaborating with individuals all which led me to creating an Award winning career as a Makeup & Hair Artist in Hollywood.
Though Medical Illustration was my original goal with my love for illustrating, painting and sculpting I pivoted my focus into Photography and Film to focus on light, composition and storytelling to create a career as an working Artist.
My goal was ultimately to direct films but I knew I had financial responsibilities due to my education and directing opportunities would be far and few between as a woman and decided after receiving my college degree to study Hair , get licensed and work with Cosmetic/Hair companies as a platform artist.
I didn’t know what doors would open for me yet knew whatever I put my mind to anything was possible, I simply needed to make a living as an Artist and my influences growing up in Fashion and Hair salons encompassed my love and passion for beauty and transformation.
While studying Hair I began to work for Clinique and learned about the science of skincare and the art of makeup for all skin types and ethnicities and began building my Makeup and Hair portfolio.
Building my portfolio opened opportunities
to working with Fashion Agencies and successful Photographers, becoming repped by a Fashion Agent and becoming established as a Makeup and Hair Artist working in Fashion Editorial and Commercials that led me to being offered the opportunity to design Makeup and Hair for films and head the Department.
My love and focus for Fine Arts throughout my childhood was my lifeline and the “thing” I knew I could do, it was simply figuring out how not to be successful at whatever I imagined!
Gratefully being recognized for my gifts in the Arts gave me confidence and humbly won me multiple awards as a child and professionally in Hollywood.
Thanks to my foundation, my family who influenced me artistically and professionally led me to create opportunities to collaborate with many individuals creatively and take me around the world.
In 2021 I launched my own Podcast, “Camp Fifi Uncensored” to create connections and conversations with multiple individuals from vast backgrounds whose life experiences led them on their path of success and gave me a platform that I felt was missing and people were hungry to hear authentic stories from “people’s life stories.”
In 2022 I was diagnosed with Ovarian cancer and thanks to my podcast for 2 years I had learned the importance of using my voice and documenting my journey and being willing to vulnerably share my story openly both on my podcast and on social media.
I realized immediately sharing my journey was a way to selflessly help others who may be going through something similar and be empowered to speak up, not feel alone, be seen and heard, be inspired, informed and thrive through any life or death experience.
My diagnosis/journey helped me realize that my passion and purpose in Beauty, Healing, Mindset, my love for people and using my voice was congruent to who I’ve always been, curious, inquisitive and willing to ask questions even when scared knowing that “if I can do it” I can empower others to do the very same!
Through my very fortunate opportunity to survive ovarian cancer I decided while healing to become Certified as a Mindfulness Intuitive healer AND recently decided to change my podcast name to, “Keep Speaking Up,” officially in the process of a re-launch.
I’m a passionate Visual Artist/
storyteller/filmmaker AND my life experiences, authority and expertise I can no longer dismiss that plays a key role that I’m here to help others, help them look and feel good, be seen and heard, know their life experiences matter and help them know they are not alone and anything in life is possible and supporting others (especially women’s journeys) and a few smart men is truly my passion and purpose.
That is why I’ve aligned with healthy brands in the Beauty, Health and Wellness to help others be educated and use daily in their lives clean, non-toxic skincare and makeup and breakthrough products to heal their bodies.
My goal is gathering communities to lead and support one another, grow and expand in a safe space for a greater good.
I’ve launched a Facebook community for women called the “Renaissance Woman Round Table Collective” offering connections, conversations and education in Women’s Healthcare, Self care, Careers, Relationships, Financial well being and Mindfulness practices where it is a safe healing space filled with enlightment, possibilities and opportunities.
I see my future as a Keynote Motivational Speaker sharing my “why”, my purpose for being here, to be of inspiration, sharing my story of overcoming life challenges and showing what is possible when one never gives up, how being fearless and unstoppable is key and everything begins with one’s positive mindset no matter what one is faced with in life along the way…
how community is so important and you don’t do life alone and to never be afraid to speak up, ask questions, advocate and do the unthinkable, because my message is:
“if I can do it so can you” knowing all voices matter, be seen, be heard, and live a life filled with passion. purpose and one’s truth!
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
A career in the Arts no one ever said would be easy or smooth!
Do I wish otherwise, of course, as I love stability while having the freedom to fly!
The Arts chose me, I didn’t choose the Arts…I think it would have easier becoming an Attorney or Doctor.
The Arts is who I am, it is my truth, the fact that I’ve made a successful career is something that I’m hugely grateful for, that I understand not many have the pleasure to experience, sustain for long periods of time
creating momentum, a path, a defining reputable reputation.
I am one of few and one of many who have created a career from nothing and I feel lucky…created with no connections, lots of highs and lows , understanding the value of developing multiple skills that are assets to offer many different clients needs and solve their problems and create many wins!
Being invaluable has always been my goal, I understand the importance of hearing my clients and meeting their needs beyond
their expectations.
Does that make the journey smooth, no it makes it interesting, it makes it colorful and it makes it rewarding when you know that your gifts, abilities to offer your unique signature style with professionalism makes your clients and your own experience life changing, desirous and purposeful!

What I do and I am known for is I am a Professional Award winning Makeup, Hair, and Spray tan Artist in Hollywood who specializes in head-to-toe work with both Men and Women in:
Beauty, Men’s Grooming, Period, Character and Special EFX working with all ethnicities for Fashion Editorial, Commercial, Television and Film work.
I am and continue to be everything from A-list actors Personal Makeup Artist, Makeup Designer for both Television and Films and overseeing many teams of Makeup artists.
One of my many specialties that have set me apart is my Spray tan work which has offered many productions and clients needs met around the world due to my professionalism, my knowledge and expertise of the science and artistry of spray tans as well as the understanding of the Actor’s “character look” for each role and helping create and maintain the look throughout the length of production.
I am also an Entrepreneur affiliated with clean non-toxic healthy Skincare and Makeup brands that offers my clients confidence with their results, look and feel.
I’m the Creator/Host of my own Podcast, “Camp Fifi Uncensored” (name changed to re-launch, “Keep Speaking Up”) that has created over 115 episodes in 2 years that is all about authentic conversations with my guests asking them poignant questions about their lives, the challenges they have overcome and how they have become the successful leaders, creatives, healers, artists, entrepreneurs that they are.
I am a Mindfulness Intuitive Healer who works with corporations, medical industry and private clients one-on-one who are seeking guidance with communication skills, working through trauma and managing their daily existence in their environments.
I am a Motivational Speaker who vulnerably shares my story of my life experiences, authority and acquired expertise from overcoming challenges that are relatable to many, inspiring, empowering others the why speaking up and keep getting back up no matter what one is faced with is so important i.e. health, financial, career or relationships that we all have the power to overcome and succeed and it begins with one’s mindset!
What sets me apart from others is I am all about Mindset, I am proud of my successful career as an Artist in Hollywood and I am proud of my willingness to remain curious, grow, expand, be vulnerable, authentic, be a leader, offer value, help solve problems, be a good listener, be of service and always be transparent, speak up even when scared or uncomfortable because one never knows how it may selflessly help others to do the very same!

What is the most important quality or characteristic to my success is my integrity, my work ethic, my preparedness, my standard of representation of who I am, what I stand for and the values and talents I bring to the table that serves my clients in all ways to the best of my ability and leaves them feeling happy and well cared for.
