Today we’d like to introduce you to Dr. Payman Danielpour and Dr. John Layke.
Hi Dr. Payman and Dr. Johnn, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
It’s often said that the best partnerships are built on shared values, mutual respect, and a vision bigger than either person alone — and the story of Dr. Payman Danielpour and Dr. John Layke is exactly that.
Payman and John met long before Beverly Hills operating rooms, bright lights, and celebrity clientele. They were two young surgeons — one from Los Angeles, the other from the Midwest — bonded by an obsessive commitment to excellence, a fascination with the art of transformation, and a deep respect for the trust placed in a surgeon’s hands. During their training, they quickly recognized something rare in one another: the same work ethic, the same hunger to master their craft, and a shared belief that plastic surgery isn’t just about changing a body — it’s about changing a life.
What began as two residents collaborating on cases evolved into countless late-night discussions about perfection, innovation, aesthetics, and what the future of plastic surgery could look like. One day, the conversation shifted from dream to plan: Why not build a practice together — one that would redefine luxury cosmetic surgery?
So they took the leap.
They started like most great success stories do — without the glamor they have today. No fancy office. No global name recognition. Just dedication, long nights, constant refining of technique, and the promise that if they focused relentlessly on results and patient care, success would follow.
And it did.
Word spread quickly — first among patients, then across Los Angeles, and eventually throughout the entertainment world. Their surgical work became known for its natural refinement and aesthetic balance, and before long the practice was filled with actors, models, high-profile executives, and individuals who trusted them to help them look and feel their best. Social media amplified what the industry already knew: Dr. Danielpour and Dr. Layke were transforming faces and bodies with precision — and doing it with the warmth and humanity often missing in plastic surgery.
Today, they are the faces behind Beverly Hills Plastic Surgery Group, a modern surgical destination where artistry meets innovation. They’ve grown from two surgeons in training to trusted authorities in their field, with a thriving surgical practice, a med spa, a regenerative medicine division, and a national reputation as plastic surgeons to the stars. Their work has been featured across television, media, and digital platforms, and patients fly in from around the world — yet at their core, the mission remains simple:
Deliver beautiful, natural results while treating every patient like family.
It’s a story of friendship, grit, talent — and an unwavering commitment to excellence.
And the best part?
They both believe they’re just getting started
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It has been a relatively smooth road considering 2 young plastic surgeons trying to get started in the most competitive area in the world for platic surgery. We were lucky becasue Dr Danielpour is a native Angeleno and grew up in Beverly Hills and went to Beverly Hills High School and that helped but what really helped was dedication, hard work and persistence.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
Dr Danielpour and Dr Layke started The Beverly Hills Plastic Surgery Group to create a boutique style plastic and reconstructive practice to serve the community and the larger LA area. Dr Danielpour specializes in breast and body procedures and is known for breast augmentation, reduction, and lifts as well as breast reconstruction that he performs at Cedars Sinai Medical Center. Dr Layke is the master of the deep plane face lift and is superb at rhinoplasty surgery. The two often perform surgery together and are known for Mommy makeovers and combined face and body procedures.
What do you like best about our city? What do you like least?
We love the weather, the people and the overall attitude that Angelenos possess.
We are not fond of the traffic that makes our patients late for the appointments with us.
