Today we’d like to introduce you to Christina One.
Hi Christina, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
Communication has always been my superpower. Even as a little girl, I had a voice and wasn’t afraid to use it. I followed that gift to USC, where I earned my degree in Communications, then went on to earn an MBA from Georgia State and a master’s in Organizational Management from the Sorbonne in Paris.
I began my career in senior management consulting at DeWolf Boberg & Associates, helping organizations sharpen their strategy and performance. That experience gave me the confidence to build something of my own. I founded Throw INC and Social House Atlanta, grew it into a business generating more than a million dollars a year, and completed a successful exit in 2023.
After the exit, I made an intentional choice to invest in myself. I spent two years living on a beachfront property in Mexico, taking a sabbatical most people only dream about. I slowed down, fell in love with horseback riding, and got crystal clear on who I am and what I want. I came home with a new kind of power: the calm, quiet confidence that comes from truly knowing yourself.
When I started sharing that perspective online, women responded in a big way. I began posting rude comments rewritten into elegant, witty responses that still made the point, and it struck a nerve. Women everywhere wanted to know how to stand their ground without losing their grace. That’s when I knew I’d found my next chapter.
Today, on social platforms I’m known as iamchristina.one with more than 38,000 followers on instagram and millions of views, where I teach how to make your words land and linger. I help ambitious women command any conversation, captivate every room, and communicate with class and wit. I’m the author of Soft Life Shift, the creator of the Classy Comebacks app, and the founder of Haus of Repartee, a growing community of women stepping into their most confident, elegant selves. I also continue to work as a Fractional CMO and marketing strategist, bringing the same strategic thinking that built my businesses to the brands I partner with.
My philosophy is simple: when you know who you are, confidence follows, composure holds, and poise becomes natural. Helping women get there is the most rewarding work I’ve ever done.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Not always, and I’m grateful for that. Every challenge I’ve faced has shaped the woman and the work you see today.
Building Throw INC and Social House Atlanta was exhilarating, but scaling a business to seven figures asks a lot of you. For years I poured everything into growth, and I learned firsthand how easy it is for ambitious women to give their best energy to their work and leave very little for themselves. That lesson is a big reason I teach what I teach now. Success means so much more when you’re well enough to enjoy it.
I also learned early that as a woman in leadership, how you say something can matter as much as what you say. I’ve always been direct, and there were moments in my career when my confidence was read as intensity. Rather than dimming my voice, I studied the art of delivery: tone, timing, and the power of a well-placed pause. Learning to pair conviction with composure changed everything for me, and it’s now the foundation of my method.
Choosing to step away after my exit was its own kind of challenge. Walking away from momentum takes courage, especially when the world rewards staying busy. But that season in Mexico gave me clarity I couldn’t have found anywhere else, and I came back more focused and intentional than ever.
Finally, starting a new brand from the ground up meant becoming a beginner again. Building an audience, creating an app, and developing a community all take patience and consistency. Watching that community grow with women who share, save, and apply what I teach has made every step worth it.
If there’s one thread through all of it, it’s this: the challenges didn’t slow me down. They refined me.
As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
I’m a confidence and communication strategist, and I specialize in what I call soft power and poised presence. I teach ambitious women how to command any conversation, captivate every room, and communicate with class and wit, especially in the moments that matter most: when they’re challenged, interrupted, underestimated, or put on the spot.
I’m best known for my Classy Comebacks. On my platform, IamChristina.one, I take the rude, backhanded, or dismissive things women hear at work, at the family table, and in their relationships, and show them how to respond with elegance and a little wit. The goal is never to tear anyone down. It’s to stay composed, make your point, and walk away with your dignity and your peace intact.
My work is built on my signature framework, The Mona Lisa Response Method: presence that commands, words that land. Through it I’ve created the Classy Comebacks app, which helps women practice the right words before they need them; my course, The Art of the Classy Comeback; and Haus of Repartee, a community where women grow together, practice in real time, and celebrate each other’s wins. I’m also the author of Soft Life Shift, and I continue to serve brands as a Fractional CMO and marketing strategist.
What I’m most proud of is the messages I receive from women who finally spoke up in a meeting, set a boundary with a relative, or handled a difficult moment with grace instead of freezing or snapping. Knowing my work helped a woman feel seen, heard, and proud of how she showed up is the greatest reward I could ask for.
What sets me apart is that I teach from the inside out. Much of the confidence industry focuses on etiquette, scripts, or “fake it till you make it.” I believe true confidence comes from knowing who you are and how you were designed. When that foundation is in place, composure follows naturally, and the right words come with it. My approach also comes from lived experience. I’ve built and exited a seven figure business, led in boardrooms, and done the inner work myself, so I teach as a woman who has walked the path, not from a distance.
How can people work with you, collaborate with you or support you?
There are so many ways to connect, and I’d love for you to join me.
The easiest place to start is Instagram at @iamchristina.one, where I share new Classy Comebacks and poised presence lessons every week. Every Tuesday I host “Tried Me Tuesdays,” where followers share what someone said to them that week and I answer with a poised response. It’s become one of my favorite ways to connect with my community.
If you want to start practicing right away, download the Classy Comebacks app and join my free 7-Day Never Speechless Challenge. Each day you’ll learn a real-life scenario and the exact words to handle it with grace. Challenge members are also invited into Her Repartee, my free community where women practice together and cheer each other on.
For women ready to go deeper, my course, The Art of the Classy Comeback, teaches The Mona Lisa Response Method step by step, so you can stay composed under pressure and always know what to say. And Haus of POISED offers ongoing live sessions, workshops, and a community of women committed to showing up as their most confident, elegant selves.
I’m also available for speaking engagements and workshops for women’s organizations, corporate teams, churches, and conferences, as well as podcast and media interviews on confidence, communication, and soft power.
I welcome brand partnerships with companies that help women feel elevated and celebrated, from travel, hospitality, and fashion to wellness, beauty, and lifestyle brands. I also love collaborating with fellow creators whose work uplifts women.
Finally, for businesses looking for strategic growth, I continue to partner with brands as a Fractional CMO and marketing strategist.
The best way to reach me is iamchristinaone@gmail.com. And of course, one of the simplest ways to support me is to share my content with a woman who needs to hear it. That’s how this community has grown, and I’m grateful for every share.
