Life & Work with Angelo Arce of Oxnard

Today we’d like to introduce you to Angelo Arce.

Angelo, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
My name is Angelo Arce and I have been performing live entertainment professionally for about 10 + years. I am a singer, pianist and also a producer in the industry. I perform nightly at different establishments, I’ve started an R&B group called “InnerVoices” when I was in High School and lastly I’m also a producer who has songs with artists like Chris Brown, Ty Dolla $ign and Jorja Smith. I began singing at every instant I could possibly get my hands on. My name and likeliness spread throughout the city Oxnard. A family band called “Satin Soul” was where I learned to become a natural musician at the tender age of 12. It has been a blessing and I’m so grateful to continue to spread the gift of music still til this day.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Nothing is ever easy. Especially with the uncertainty of the economy. There’s always ups and downs. The ebbs and flows of business. When it rains, it pours but when it’s dry there is quite a drought. Live music though almost extinct, continues to persevere. There’s a need and feeling for it which is why I believe is necessary.

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I have entertained and always been a curator of the immaculate vibe with my soulful, smooth R&B vocals and piano playing. I have been compared to the likes of John Legend and Stevie Wonder by the great Jamie Foxx.
My specialty has and always will be R&B.
I have a song I made with my old group “InnerVoices” called “Baby Girl” which has millions of streams on DSPs.
As a Producer I’ve worked on some special records that have made it to the Billboard charts and also got me a plaque in the industry.
I was featured on Oxnard/LA Native Rapper Wildchild album “OMOWALE” on the song “Manifestin” and also on his son’s project Miles Brown who was an actor on “Blackish” on his album “We The Future” with “KID” being his single.
Had the privilege of performing at the “Day n Vegas” Tour with Wildchild and Madlib and graced the stage again with Wildchild at Anderson Paak’s event “PAAKHOUSE”
What sets me apart from others is my love for music and the fact that I have perfect pitch, and can play by ear. This music thing comes to me as second nature.
