Today we’d like to introduce you to Mikki White.
Mikki, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
One of my favorite things to do is attend and watch fashion shows. I am always mesmerized to see colors and patterns joined together. At one time, I considered becoming a personal stylist and was able to style some people. I enjoy shopping as much as styling. After careful thought and research, I decided I wanted to start a mobile clothing business. I didn’t have enough money to buy a vehicle and didn’t want to go into debt buying one.
In 2018, with my little savings, I launched an online store as a platform to get my business started and recognized. Along the way, I have had the pleasure of meeting a lot of small business owners with whom I get to share this journey. In August 2020, I had earned enough money to purchase a pre-owned vehicle and am in the process of preparing a launch.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
The road has been smooth because I ask and receive input and guidance from other small business owner’s questions. I was fortunate to purchase a well-maintained vehicle, so the only thing I had to focus on was the build-out of my truck.
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I am the owner of a women’s clothing boutique which sells trendy fashions. My main objective is to provide tasteful fashions for the full-size person. I handpick the items I sell. My mantra, which sets me apart from others, is “if I won’t wear it, I won’t sell it.”
