Hi Richa, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
Our journey began with a simple craving for the authentic flavors that we remember enjoying growing up in Nepal. It inspired us to create an unforgettable experience to share with our community right here in the heart of Ventura. Our success is 100% love form our community. They have shown appreciation to our story, and our food and we feel grateful for all the love they’ve supported us with.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It’s been fun, but also challenging to survive in this economy. Our goal has always been to offer affordable home cooked meals while maintaining high food quality. However, pricing it right has been our biggest hurdle and sustaining in this economy has been a major challenge.

We’re the Spicy Sisters, a dynamic trio serving up dishes that reflect our deep love and nostalgia for Nepali cuisine. We specialize in Nepali street food and more. Our quality food and the love we put in creating these dishes makes us special. We don’t compromise on quality. Our vision is simple-the reason I go back to the same business is because people are friendly, smiling and when food is always consistent. Tagts exactly what we thrive for and what our brand stands for. We offer home-cooked meals, and we love that our community understands and appreciates that. So when the tomato sauce looks a little different, they know it’s probably because we couldn’t get perfectly ripe tomatoes that day. We now offer private cooking classes and catering services.

What do you like best about our city? What do you like least?
Everything about Ventura is amazing. The laid back life and the community support is simply the best here. The weather and the beaches of course!
