Today we’d like to introduce you to Marisol Gonzalez.
Hi Marisol, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
After 10 years as a nurse, I joined a private Reproductive Endocrinology/Infertility practice in Westlake Village, CA, entering a specialty I initially knew little about. I trained under a well-known physician with extensive IVF experience and, as an IVF Nurse Coordinator, taught patients how to self-administer hormone injections. While many patients were hesitant but capable, a small yet significant group was truly terrified of giving injections at home. When a patient asked whether someone could administer their injections at home, I was surprised to learn that no such service existed. Wanting to help, I began visiting patients’ homes to provide this care. Recognizing a clear unmet need, I established a fully mobile specialty nursing service, home fertility injections serving the San Fernando Valley and surrounding Los Angeles areas. After repeated inquiries about other home injections, I expanded my services to provide the same care for non-infertility patients.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Infertility treatment remains highly private for many people due to stigma and personal circumstances, making patients reluctant to leave social media reviews. This has made building an online presence challenging.
I have also found that some nurses and medical assistants who work at fertility clinics provide in-home injection services “under the table” instead of referring patients to established providers like me. I work to educate clinic managers about the liability risks this poses for their employees.
Appreciate you sharing that. What should we know about Confidential Nursing Care?
Peace of Mind Is Our Mission
At Confidential Nursing Care, we know injections can be stressful. Worry about pain, technique, or making a mistake can disrupt sleep and add anxiety to an already emotional treatment journey. That’s why we provide compassionate, in-home injection support—so you can focus on your goals, not the shots. With more than 25 years of nursing experience, we bring skilled, reliable care directly to your door.
