Inspiring Conversations with Jessica Javens of The Executive Reset™

Today we’d like to introduce you to Jessica Javens.

Hi Jessica, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
I spent nearly two decades in banking, working my way from a call center seat all the way to a Director role — while raising four adopted kids, running a household, and holding everything together with willpower and caffeine. From the outside, I looked like someone who had it completely figured out.
Inside, my body was keeping score. Chronic anxiety I felt in my gut every single day. Eighty pounds of stress weight that no diet touched. Skin rashes, intestinal problems, back pain that came and went without explanation. I tried everything — better food, supplements, trips, routines — and none of it worked, because none of it addressed what was actually running the show.

In the summer of 2023, I hit a wall. My marriage was fracturing. My workplace had turned toxic. I was raising my four beautiful kids, managing a team, and white-knuckling through every single day. Something had to give.

So I stopped trying to push through, and started looking inward instead. I became a Certified Life Master Consultant, a Certified Dream Builder Coach, and a Certified Wellness Coach — and in that process, I finally discovered what had actually been driving the exhaustion and the fog all along: my nervous system had been running resistance patterns I couldn’t see. My body running on empty.

Once I could name the pattern, truly listen to my body, I could work with it instead of against it. Today, I help senior working mothers do exactly what I had to learn myself — reclaim their sharp thinking, at the root, without willpower or another prescription to just manage their stress better. That’s why I founded The Executive Reset™.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It was not a smooth road, and I don’t think it’s supposed to be one. Before I ever built The Executive Reset™, I spent years trying to fix what was wrong with conventional advice — therapy, Weight Watchers, daily workouts, anxiety medication, more caffeine — and every single one gave me temporary results at best. I’d lose the weight and gain it back. The anxiety would ease for a while and then return. Nothing held, because nothing was actually aimed at the root cause.

The hardest stretch was the summer of 2023, when my marriage and my workplace were both falling apart at the same time I was raising my four kids and managing a team. That’s the season that finally forced me to stop looking for another protocol and start asking a completely different question — not “what should I do differently,” but “what is actually happening in my body, and why has no one ever measured it?” That question is what became The Executive Reset™.

Great, so let’s talk business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
The Executive Reset™ is a nine-step, 90-day program built for senior working mothers at a leadership level — women who are succeeding on paper while quietly running on empty underneath it.

What sets us apart is precision: we start with a full biological audit before adding a single protocol, and we work in a specific sequence — audit, then reconstruction, then execution — because I learned the hard way that skipping straight to solutions is exactly why most programs don’t hold. My clients don’t leave with a list of things to try. They leave with their specific resistance pattern named, and a system built to address it at the root, not just manage it around the edges.

What I’m proudest of, brand-wise, is that none of this is theoretical. I lived every part of it before I ever taught it. The six-client cap isn’t a demand limit — it’s deliberate. The work requires a level of precision that volume would destroy.

Where we are in life is often partly because of others. Who/what else deserves credit for how your story turned out?
So many people have shaped this journey that I think of them in circles rather than a list.

The first circle is the leaders who invested in me during my nearly two decades in corporate. Tom Glickman and later Pedro Diaz saw something in me before I saw it in myself and pushed me into rooms I didn’t think I was ready for.

Those years in financial services taught me what high performance looks like, and what it costs when no one is paying attention to the human behind the results.

The second circle is my clients. The high-performers and mothers in leadership who trusted me with their exhaustion, their ambition, and their reinvention are the reason The Executive Reset™ exists. Every breakthrough they’ve had has sharpened my work. Two women come to mind immediately — Karina Casadei and Madai Parra, two of my clients whose results have shaped how I talk about this work publicly. Within a year of working together, Karina lost the weight, organized her business, improved her marriage, and felt genuinely happy again — exactly the kind of full-picture result this work is built for. Madai had spent thirty years trying nearly every holistic approach available, with only temporary results each time — watching her finally find something that actually held reminded me exactly why precision matters more than variety in this work.

The third circle is my Human Advantage Factor Fellow cohort, an extraordinary community of leaders from around the world brought together by Will Lukang. Will is an accomplished author and thought leader. He believed in me from the moment we met. I had reached out to be a guest on his podcast, and from that first conversation, our relationship grew into one of mutual support that I value deeply. He is the kind of advocate every leader needs: someone who opens doors and then steps aside so you can walk through them. Through Will’s vision, several of us in the cohort have come together to co-author books, including the award-winning Future-Ready Performance Playbook, to creating dynamic speaking events that bring our collective expertise to leaders everywhere. Each collaboration brings new voices and new wisdom to the table. I’m deeply grateful to every fellow and co-author for their engagement, generosity, and unwavering support as we build an international movement preparing leaders for the future.

Another circle changed me from the inside out. Eric Misch and Melinda Barcelona introduced me to the deep nutrition my body had been missing for years. I had spent so long pushing through on empty that I didn’t realize how depleted I was until I experienced what it felt like to truly nourish myself. That shift upgraded my health and my energy, and it became part of how I help leaders understand that sustainable performance starts in the body. What stands out most about Eric and Melinda is who they are: endlessly curious, deeply passionate, and genuinely caring. They believed in me and supported me in a way that made me feel seen.

And at the center are the people who cheered when no one else was watching: my family and my creator. Success is never a solo act, and I carry every one of them with me.
