I am inspired and fully surrendered to living my best and highest life. Today, I stand as a highly evolved Integrative Life Therapist and healer of the broken spirit, with over 25 years of experience guiding others toward wholeness. I intuitively perceive Truth and help each client arrive at profound spiritual revelation and self-awareness. As a guiding light for the inward journey, I am also a certified hypnotherapist, past-life regression therapist, sound healing therapist, and interfaith ordained metaphysical minister, teacher, and energy healer. I hold a Master’s Degree in Metaphysical Science and a Doctorate in Philosophy specializing in Integrative Life Counseling.
I am the founder of Angels of Life Miracles (AOLM), (www.angelsoflifemiracles.org) a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to innovative, spiritually integrative life counseling that opens the doorway to unlimited possibility—empowering individuals to create lives filled with purpose, peace, and divine alignment. My AOLM Sacred Healing Sanctuary in Torrance, California, is an energy portal infused with a high vibrational frequency that gently embraces each client, creating a deep sense of safety and serenity.
Within this sacred space, I use a combination of Crystal Light Therapy, Voice Frequency Analysis, Soundbaths, Healing Meditations, Past Life Regression, and Aura/Energy Imaging for humans and pets and a home of high quality and vibrational crystals via “The Obsidian Place”—all of which are holistic modalities that illuminate the underlying causes of imbalance and help resolve the question of why you are not yet where your soul longs to be. In alignment with my calling to guide others toward wholeness, I have co-partnered with a company and will facilitate Healing Retreats in the South Pacific, offering sacred journeys to Fiji—a land of radiant beauty and spiritual serenity. There, participants are invited to release, realign, and rediscover their divine essence through guided meditations, healing circles, sound therapy, and intuitive workshops led by myself and my team of holistic practitioners. Each retreat is designed as a soul pilgrimage—a return to peace, purpose, and self-love.
The path that led me here was not one of ease or privilege—it was carved through pain, perseverance, and divine surrender. My soul was forged in the fires of trauma, loss, and heartbreak, yet every trial served as an awakening. From the ashes of my suffering emerged deep compassion and a sacred understanding of the human spirit’s resilience. I learned that healing is not about forgetting what happened; it is about transforming pain into purpose and darkness into divine wisdom.
This is my story of transformation.
My childhood was happy and fun loving until I turned 12. I was sent to Germany to live with my Aunt and Uncle. While living in Germany with them, I was beaten, raped and sodomized by this uncle for nine continuous months. My entire family (except my siblings and mother) rallied around this uncle calling me a habitual liar. I was told repeatedly “I was just a child, and I would forget about it.” They said my uncle had a pension and they had to protect his pension. Ostracized and bewildered, the years of my lost youth were troubled; I no longer knew how to live, only to survive.
As I grew into a young woman, I fell in love and married a man who loved and accepted me. He was a successful bright young attorney, and I believed at last; I could really feel happiness. Three and one-half months after our marriage he was killed by drunk driver while walking home from the train. My future immediately became my past with a phone call from my cousin saying my husband had been hit by a car. Unable to bear the loss, I took a massive attempt on my life. By Court Order, I was placed in a mental institution. There I found a wonderful doctor who explained that she knew there was a difference between grief and crazy and released me after a short stay, instead of the minimum six months, with a promise of no more suicide attempts.
Still unable to comprehend my life or the overwhelming pain inside, I spiraled down into cocaine and alcohol, as the trauma of my stolen youth surfaced with the familiar feelings of abandonment and lack of love. I tried to fill those voids in my life with substances. I ended up at the Betty Ford Center after six years of abusing myself; a child’s size 14, starved with an ulcerated nasal cavity. After my stay at the Betty Ford clinic, I continued treatment through Alcoholics Anonymous meetings in Hermosa Beach, California and holistic therapies. There, at the morning meetings I attended, I met and fell in love again with a very kind and gentle man. I had learned to trust love again. Life became anew. I was clean and sober, and in love. One Christmas morning, hidden in the new espresso machine he had given me as one of my gifts, there was a beautiful engagement ring. He proposed to me that Christmas. He too, was killed in a motorcycle accident before the marriage.
Again, faced with the loss of love & support, I did not know what to do, but I knew what not to do – no substance abuse. That was all I knew. My life was again shattered into one million pieces. During this time, I took in my young niece and nephew to live with me. They were an inspiration to heal because I wanted to take better care of them than I had of myself. I will never forget my niece in the hospital room with me and my dead fiancé kneeling in front of me saying: “Aunt Kathy, we will get through this together. You have been here for me and my brother and now we are going to be here for you.” Our hearts were broken, but I knew then somehow, someway, I would have to find a way to live again.
It was at this time I began my spiritual quest to heal the hurts and pains in my heart, having to go all the way back to revisit all the pain I experienced. I began attending Agape International Spiritual Center learning spiritual principles taught by Dr. Michael Bernard Beckwith. I learned how to meditate there. I began to go within the silence of my soul to discover how to love and forgive. I began to accept the beauty that was me as well as how to embrace the child who had been beaten unrecognizable and molested. It was an uphill climb to self-acceptance, self-love and forgiveness. Endurance taught me strength of character.
I understand despair. I understand recovery and total healing. Inside for the very first time in many years, I started to feel my life was worth living. Spiritual growth and development showed me a way to once again expect good things in my life. I began to think independently of anything that had ever happened to me. I began to understand that I no longer needed to protect myself and dropped the wall of protection. I became willing to explore the present moment with a clear lens free from past experiences. Peace began to reside where restlessness once existed.
My nightmares are gifts to give away to help others. I read one day that “If you learn from your suffering and really come to understand the lesson you were taught, you might be able to help someone else who’s now in the phase you may have just completed. Maybe that’s what life’s all about after all.” Those words gave meaning to my experience. I am grateful for all the experiences of my life, the good and not so good, for they helped make me the person I am today.
I chose to forgive any wrong that may have appeared in my outer world and, turn with appreciation, inward to my inner Light. I think upon those things that are good and the lessons I have learned. I no longer contend against people or events. In doing so, I became emancipated from my previous bondage. I expect and accept only good today. So today I have been refined.
Through years of spiritual study, meditation, and self-reflection, I began to understand that the very experiences that once shattered me were preparing me to help others mend. Each layer of my healing journey—through childhood trauma, the loss of great loves, and the rediscovery of my worth—became the foundation upon which I built my life’s work. I no longer saw myself as a victim of circumstance, but as a vessel for divine healing energy, chosen to guide others from despair into light.
Today, I serve from that sacred knowing. Every client who enters my sanctuary is met not only with compassion but with the understanding that I have walked through the valley myself and returned whole. I hold space for transformation because I have lived it. My purpose is clear—to help others awaken, to restore faith in the goodness of life, and to remind every soul that no matter the depth of pain, there is always a path back to peace, love, and light.
Through grace, I have turned my suffering into light—and that light now serves as a beacon of hope for others. So today I have been refined. Today God has polished my life. Today God has given me the gift of being in service to others. As long as my days are on this planet, I shall be of service to humanity creating light, joy, peace as long as God allows me.

After completing treatment at the Betty Ford Center, Dr. Dixon began rebuilding her life through recovery, spirituality, and service. “It was at the moment of surrender that I finally felt God’s presence again,” she recalls.

No, my road has not been smooth. In 2025 I was healed from cancer, I stand as living proof that faith, holistic living, and divine grace can restore the body, renew the spirit, and transform every cell with light. No matter what challenges I have faced in my life—each part of my road has been sacred even the recent cancer journey. Every hardship I endured became a stepping stone toward the woman and healer I am today. My early years were marked by unimaginable trauma, betrayal, and loss. At twelve, I was sent to live with family in Germany and endured abuse that shattered my innocence. Later in life, after finding love and a sense of belonging, I lost my husband to a drunk driver only months after our marriage. Overwhelmed by grief, I attempted to take my own life and was hospitalized. A compassionate doctor recognized that I was not “crazy,” only heartbroken—and that understanding became the first light of healing in my darkness.
Still, I stumbled through years of pain and substance abuse before finding my way to recovery at the Betty Ford Center. Sobriety became my awakening, and through spiritual study, I began to heal. But even then, life tested my faith once more. After years of recovery, I found love again, only to lose my fiancé in a motorcycle accident. That tragedy could have broken me, but instead it became my turning point. I knew then that my life had a purpose greater than my pain.
My greatest struggles became the foundation of my greatest strength. They taught me compassion, faith, and surrender. My vision is to help spas go beyond physical pampering—to create sacred portals of renewal where clients can recharge, regenerate, and reconnect with inner peace after their treatments. These Crystal Light Therapy beds elevate the spa experience into a soul experience, blending science, frequency, and divine light to support total energetic balance.
Secondly, I am thrilled to be launching Island Light Retreats in Fiji, an expansion of my healing work and a continuation of the inward journey I take my clients on through Angels of Life Miracles. These retreats will offer participants a transformational experience of meditation, sound healing, sacred ceremony, and deep connection with nature. Fiji provides the perfect energetic environment for this—its natural beauty and serenity mirror the light and peace I want each participant to discover within themselves.
Lastly my all time favorite expansion is– I have been privileged to work with neurodivergent children in school districts, providing compassionate, evidence-based behavior therapy and interventions for individuals with autism, Down syndrome, ADHD, developmental disabilities, and emotional challenges. With a focus on empowering families and fostering individual growth, my personalized approach helps each child thrive in their own unique way—developing essential social, emotional, and behavioral skills to succeed in everyday life. I also travel with families to offer behavioral support during vacations, ensuring smoother, more enjoyable experiences for both children and parents.
