Hi Benjamin, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I began starting music at age 13 in a community that wasn’t fond of its youth straying away from the cookie cutter path they expected my generation to fall into. I began producing my own music fresh out of high school & landed into model management right after my 23rd birthday, simply by chance & inspiration alone. By may of 2020, I dropped the music career after a decade of being an artist. And strictly focused on honing my business in model management, which lead to all out visual & event production, marketing all major platforms & titling myself as an Entertainment Concierge running one of the top underrated centralized entertainment hubs in Los Angeles.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Definitely wasn’t a smooth road. The struggles I’ve dealt with for 7 years doing this work was dealing with the artists & the models at first. Artists typically follow the culture, the culture is self destructive & that’s pretty self explanatory. I’ve been cursed at, threatened, or simply treated poorly by artist’s just for doing my job.

Dealing with the models can be much easier in comparison. Yet it’s a revolving door with the models. Loyalty is very minimal in their approach to working with casting directors like myself that always pays on time & is typically present on set with them.

The hardest obstacle when dealing with the models is some are very bad at communicating. Those handful of girls (who I’ve probably dropped or fired already) treat the work like it’s the dating market. Having the man chase the woman.

That’s where that group of former prospects screwed up. I never chase a woman to get her paid for a job. I don’t follow the backwards logic they’re so used too. Some feel threatened by that, others feel safe & respect it. That’s why I’m the underdog & a massive threat to the status quo of the industry.

I’m the founder & Co-CEO of my company named “Booked By Benj.”

My company is a centralized entertainment hub providing all the services that an artist requires to build their careers.

As most artists & labels are extremely scattered for all services. They have 3rd, 4th & even 5th party contacts to barely fulfill the job or not accomplish it at all.

So my company is the cure to that scattered concept in the industry. We have everything up our sleeve from the models, exotic cars, mansions, full scale production & marketing for all the releases on every major platform! Were the one stop shop, the go to guys that have it all in writing, under contract etc.

I’ve always been known for casting models since I began my career with that.

What I’m most proud of is my ability to lead, my great ability of judgment to know who’s worth the time & who’s not. And also my ability to get the job done far better, quicker & easier than my incompetent competitors.

What sets me apart from the others is below:

– 95% of the time I’m there & present on set with the models

– I’ve never missed a payment nor have waited for funds by any client. It’s always a deposit up front, the remainder on arrival before they even turn on the camera.

– I treat clients, models, & other contributors of mine with dignity, respect & make them feel welcome rather than treat them as a mere employee to look good in front of the ones paying me

– Lastly, I’m a threat to the status quo of Hollywood & entertainment. The things I do is a foreign concept to all creatives alike. I stand my ground & break the foolishness of the industry one deluded creative at a time. They can hate me at first, but they all respect it later on.
