Hidden Gems: Meet Yazmin Delgado of Glitz and All LLC

Today we’d like to introduce you to Yazmin Delgado

Hi Yazmin, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
I’ve always believed I see the world a little differently. As a creative soul, my mind is constantly buzzing with ideas, always eager to bring them to life. This natural drive to create is what led me to where I am today.

My journey began with a humble start, as DIY projects were the best way I could express my ideas due to limited resources growing up. I’m a mom of three, and I’ve always found joy in making others feel special, especially on important days like birthdays. It was through celebrating these moments for my own children that my passion for event décor truly blossomed.

With the support of my husband and family, I started my business, Glitz and All. They saw my potential before I even did and referred me to friends and relatives. From there, Instagram became my platform to showcase my work, and soon, I was booking with complete strangers who took a chance on me.

Now, nearly four years later, my business has evolved in ways I never imagined. What began as small balloon decorations for family gatherings has transformed into full-scale setups for Quinceañeras, Sweet 16s, and weddings. The feeling of pouring my heart and soul into these events and witnessing the beauty of what I create is truly indescribable.

Last year, I took a leap of faith and decided to prioritize both my family and my business. Today, I have the privilege of being my own boss, setting my own hours, and building a business that aligns with my life as a mother.

If a girl who came to the U.S. from Mexico at just one year old, faced her own challenges growing up, graduated high school pregnant, with no college education or business background, can do this – then anything is possible.

I’m living my dream, and I’m proof that with passion and hard work, you can achieve anything.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
The journey has definitely not been a smooth one, and I continue to face challenges, but I am stubborn and refuse to quit. As a Dreamer and DACA recipient, I’ve been given an opportunity that I might not have otherwise had, and I’m determined to make the most of it. Although my path hasn’t unfolded exactly the way I imagined as a little girl, I am still chasing my dreams, just in a different way.

In the beginning, one of the biggest obstacles was a lack of resources. Money was tight, and while we tried to save as much as we could, being young and financially unprepared set us back. My husband and I have worked incredibly hard to provide for our family, doing everything in our power to give us a better life.

We started out living in a small room in my mother-in-law’s house, but with perseverance and dedication, we now own our home and business. Through it all, one thing has remained constant—our drive to create the best possible life for our family. We are both equally committed to building a future we can be proud of.

Great, so let’s talk business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
At Glitz and All, we’re here to prove that elegance can be accessible to everyone. We specialize in providing a wide range of rentals for events, including flower walls, floral arches, statement pieces, and much more.

What sets us apart is our creative spirit and attention to detail. We take pride in bringing your vision to life with passion, all while keeping affordability in mind. We believe that every celebration should be a true reflection of your personal style, and our goal is to make that happen.

When you choose us, you’re not just getting décor—you’re getting a team dedicated to making sure you can enjoy your day to the fullest, knowing that small details are taken care of.

Do you any memories from childhood that you can share with us?
One of my favorite childhood memories was my first trip to Disneyland. I was about 8 or 9 at the time, and my dad stayed behind to work so my mom, sister, and I could go. We didn’t have much growing up, so looking back, I realize just how much sacrifice went into making that trip possible. It’s a memory I cherish deeply.

We were invited by our neighbors—my best friend Nataly, her mom, and my mom were all very close. It was such a special experience because I had never been anywhere like that before, and we had an absolute blast. That trip meant a lot to me then, and it still holds a special place in my heart today.
