Today we’d like to introduce you to Toni Chamoun.
Hi Toni, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
I grew up in Switzerland in a large immigrant family with seven siblings, and sports were always a big part of our lives. I became very competitive early on and eventually became the Swiss national boxing champion. After earning my degree in polymechanic engineering, I realized I wanted to turn my passion for fitness into a career. So I studied at the Swiss Academy of Fitness and Sports to become a certified personal trainer and nutrition advisor.
From there, I built a successful training business where I had the chance to help people achieve their goals, which I really loved. Along the way, I met my American wife, and that connection eventually brought me here. Looking back, each step—sports, education, and entrepreneurship—helped shape the skills and mindset I bring with me today.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Moving to California in 2018 was a major life shift. I left behind a successful business in Switzerland and suddenly had to start completely from scratch. I quickly realized that no one was waiting for me here, and that was a tough pill to swallow.
The transition hit me harder than I expected, and I went through a period of depression. Working with a therapist was one of the best decisions I made. It forced me to put in the work — mentally, emotionally, and physically — to rebuild not only my career but also my identity and purpose in this new place.
It wasn’t easy, but through that process I became more grounded, more self-aware, and more resilient. That struggle shaped me, and it’s why I’m so passionate about helping others push through challenges and unlock the best version of themselves — because I had to do that for myself first.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?
My business is all about high-level, personalized fitness coaching that combines the precision of strength training with the intensity and discipline of boxing. Whether it’s one-on-one training or small group sessions, every workout is designed to move clients closer to their goals — not just physically, but mentally as well.
On the individual side, I help clients build or maintain muscle, lose weight in a healthy and sustainable way, improve coordination and mobility, learn real boxing skills — even up to sparring level — and manage stress through movement and discipline. For those who enjoy training in a community, I also run small group sessions, which are especially popular with corporate teams. These combine boxing, strength, and functional training to improve fitness while also building team spirit.
What sets me apart is the mix of my background and my approach. As a Swiss National Boxing Champion, I bring an elite level of discipline and athleticism, but beyond the titles, I’ve walked the hard road myself. Moving to a new country and rebuilding my life taught me how powerful physical training can be for mental and emotional resilience. That perspective allows me to connect with clients on a deeper level.
Another area I specialize in is strength training for clients who are on weight loss injections, like Ozempic. I help them maintain and rebuild muscle mass so they stay strong, functional, and healthy throughout their journey.
At its core, my brand is about real transformation — no shortcuts, just focused, customized coaching that delivers results. I’m proud of creating a space where people feel challenged but supported, and where training becomes a tool for confidence, clarity, and long-term change. My goal is to meet clients where they are, whether they’re complete beginners or seasoned athletes, and help them evolve — one powerful session at a time.”
Before we go, is there anything else you can share with us?
I love helping young people who may struggle with focus, discipline, or confidence. Through boxing and structured movement, I give them tools to build not just physical strength, but also mental resilience and self-belief.
I also train young athletes who want to take their performance to the next level in school or high school sports. Whether it’s coordination, strength, speed, or mindset, I tailor each session to their needs so they can perform better, stay motivated, and develop lifelong habits of discipline and confidence.
At the end of the day, my work isn’t only about fitness — it’s about empowering people of all ages to feel strong, focused, and capable, both inside and outside the gym.”
