Hi Raysean, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
I’m originally from Cincinnati, Ohio, where I spent my early years. After high school, I made the move to Augusta, Georgia, to attend college. While Augusta gave me my first taste of independence, I always knew Atlanta was where I wanted to be, especially because of the city’s strong connection to entertainment, culture, and opportunity.

I eventually moved to Atlanta and built a life there, spending several years immersing myself in the city’s creative and business scene. Atlanta shaped me in so many ways, from exposing me to the entertainment industry to helping me discover my passion for marketing and business development.

But after nearly two decades, I started to crave something new. A fresh environment to challenge and inspire me. That desire for growth led me to Los Angeles, California, where I’ve been able to further develop my career in entertainment, business, and marketing.

LA has offered me a chance to reinvent myself while still building on the foundation I created in Atlanta. It’s been a journey filled with lessons, connections, and opportunities, and I’m excited to see where this next chapter takes me.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It definitely hasn’t been a smooth road but I wouldn’t change the journey for anything. One of the biggest challenges I faced was balancing school while attending online classes at Morehouse College, all while living in Los Angeles. Being in a different time zone and juggling classwork with everything else made it even more challenging.

On top of that, I’m also a business owner, running my creative marketing agency here in LA. Managing clients, working with talent, and making sure my business stayed afloat, all while trying to keep up with school, was a lot to handle at once. There were days I felt stretched thin, but I knew I had to push through if I wanted to reach my goals.

It wasn’t a smooth road by any means, it was difficult and required a lot of sacrifice. But through it all, I made it happen. Those struggles shaped me, and they taught me the importance of time management, resilience, and trusting the process.

The most important quality that’s contributed to my success is resilience. No matter what challenges come my way, whether it’s balancing school, running my business, managing clients, or navigating new opportunities, I’ve always found a way to adapt, push through, and keep going.

In this industry, things rarely go exactly as planned, so being able to stay flexible while still keeping my vision clear has been key. I also believe my creativity plays a big role. I’m always thinking outside the box, finding new ways to help my clients stand out, and staying ahead of trends.

Ultimately, my success comes from a combination of resilience, creativity, and passion. I genuinely love what I do, and that passion fuels me to keep learning, growing, and showing up for my clients every single day.
