Hidden Gems: Meet Mireille Colin of Melle Co.

Today we’d like to introduce you to Mireille Colin.

Hi Mireille, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
I am a 23-year-old boss. I am graduating this December 2023 with my Bachelor’s in Political Science minor in Business Law, along with my certification in Ethics, Law, and Society. I am the youngest member of the Broward County Bar Association, Wilkie D. Ferguson, Jr. Bar Association, and the Gwen S. Cherry Black Women Lawyers Association. As an undergrad currently pursuing law, I am also a supermodel, and I’m the CEO of Everlasting Friend Inc., a nonprofit organization dedicated to individuals who suffer from anxiety, depression, bullying, abuse, and trauma. As the CEO of Everlasting Friend Inc., I am dedicated to making a positive impact and being a pivotal role model for Generation Z and Alpha.

I’ve partnered with Joe Dimaggio Children’s Hospital, Dillard Elementary School, Ascend Academy, as well as a few other nonprofit organizations that are geared towards helping teens recover from drugs and overdosage. I’ve had the opportunity to meet government officials such as U.S. District Attorneys, Executives, judges, and a United States Assistant Secretary of the Treasury for Public Affairs. I’ve been personally invited to REVOLT WLRD, BET HipHop Awards 2023, and ForbesBlk Summit 2023 and have had the privilege of networking with celebrities, artists, managers, photographers, and models in the entertainment industry. Alongside all of this, I am an amazing mother. I am considered a “super-mom” to people who know me because of how dedicated I am to creating a momentous life for my son. I have blind faith, working hard to leave a legacy for my family.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
No, it has not been a smooth road. I’ve dealt with a lot of highs and a lot of lows, but with God on my side, I’ve been able to overcome and persevere. I am a very optimistic woman. I believe that we go through trials and tribulations to be a testimony and help someone else.

We’ve been impressed with Melle Co., but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
I am a freelance model for clothing brands, photographers/videographers, makeup artists, and hairstylists. I specialize in writing, editing, and revising contracts.

I am known for my optimism, hard work, dedication, love, uplifting spirit, and passion for the people.

My dedication, ambition, intelligence, spirit, and grit set me apart from others.

I am most proud brand-wise of how much positive impact I’ve been able to make on the community thus far.

I offer contract, public speaking, and modeling services.

So maybe we end on discussing what matters most to you and why?
My family matters most to me. I grew up in a loving home. It matters most because I plan on leaving a legacy for my last name when I’m finished.
