Kendall Phyfier is a Los Angeles-based Licensed Esthetician and the founder of COCOLEAV SKIN CARE, a plant-focused skincare and self-care brand rooted in education, nourishment, and intentional formulation. With over six years of experience in the beauty and esthetics industry, Kendall specializes in customized, results-driven skincare for all skin types, including sensitive and acne-prone skin.
Her approach combines professional esthetic expertise with a passion for creating effective, mild sensorial products that make skincare feel both intentional and indulgent. Kendall began developing her own formulas while in college, drawing from her personal skincare needs and continued education in skin health and professional treatments. What began as a personal passion evolved into COCOLEAV; a growing collection of handcrafted skincare and body care products made in small batches in Los Angeles.
Through COCOLEAV, Kendall focuses on creating thoughtfully formulated products while empowering customers to better understand and care for their skin. Her philosophy is simple: skincare should be effective, nourishing, and an experience you genuinely enjoy.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
I define success as building something that is genuinely meaningful to me while creating an impact beyond myself. For COCOLEAV, success isn’t just about sales or how large the brand becomes. It’s knowing that I’ve created products and experiences that make people feel sexy, confident, cared for, and connected.
Success is also having the freedom to grow the brand on my own terms, continue creating, and build a community around something I truly believe in. If COCOLEAV can evolve from a skincare brand into a lifestyle and community while staying authentic to its roots, that is success to me.

I want readers to know that COCOLEAV is more than just a skincare brand; it’s an extension of my passion for skin health, beauty, and self-care. As a Licensed Esthetician, I bring professional skincare knowledge into both my products and customized facial services, creating an experience that is intentional from formulation to treatment.

What has been the most important lesson you’ve learned along your journey?
What I’m most proud of is how COCOLEAV has grown organically in the last 3 years through word-of-mouth and repeat customers, even during periods when I haven’t been actively marketing it. I think this says something meaningful about the products and the customer connection.
I’m especially proud that the brand has grown from something I created out of my own passion for skincare into a business that people genuinely enjoy and come back to. Knowing that customers love the products, trust my formulations, and continue to support COCOLEAV means more to me than simply seeing the brand grow; it reminds me that I’m creating something that truly resonates with people.
