Hi Kelli, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
My journey into estate sales began as a child, exploring antique shops across the South with my mom. Over the years, I developed a sharp eye for the unusual and a special appreciation for abstract art. But my work goes beyond finding interesting pieces—I am deeply passionate about helping the elderly and making transitions easier for families. I run a vibrant, family-driven business with my four kids and husband right alongside me. We love engaging with customers, sharing stories, and having a good time, all while helping each piece find its perfect new home. For us, it’s not just about the sale; it’s about creating a fun and memorable experience for everyone involved.

I am also writing a book – an insiders look at the fascinating world of estate sales- A celebration of the lives we live, the possessions we cherish, and the stories that remain when we’re gone.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It has been a rollercoaster! My motto is “I run a tight shipwreck”. There are so many struggles -from the children of a deceased loved one not wanting us touching belongings, to rat infested garages, to financial struggles, to drama among employees- the list goes on.
