Hi Irene, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
My journey into starting this business began because of the stories I heard from cancer patients—people sharing how little support they had during treatment and how overwhelming daily life could become. I wanted to help beyond the hospital walls, so I researched ways to make a tangible difference and came across Cleaning for a Reason. To partner with them, I needed to have a registered business, which became the first step in officially launching my company.

From that point on, my mission has always been rooted in service—creating clean, supportive spaces for people when they need it most. That foundation shaped how we operate today. What began as a hands-on, service-based approach has grown into a company that supports homeowners, realtors, and commercial clients alike, from move-in and move-out cleanings to ongoing maintenance and commercial spaces.

Through it all, our focus remains the same: attention to detail, reliability, and genuine care. I’m proud not just of the work we do, but of the team we’ve built and continue to build as we continue growing—people who share that same pride and purpose—and the relationships we’ve formed along the way. Above all, we continue to grow with intention, always remembering why we started in the first place.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
The road hasn’t always been smooth, and that’s been part of the journey. In the beginning, I faced the challenge of balancing the administrative side of running a business with being hands-on in the field, all while learning how to scale without sacrificing quality. Staffing, client demands, and the unexpected hiccups that come with growing a small company taught me a lot about patience and resilience.

Today, we’re in a place where we’ve built a strong, dedicated team and a process-driven approach that allows us to deliver consistent, high-quality service for every client. We’ve learned to embrace the ups and downs as opportunities to refine how we operate, and to stay focused on the mission that inspired us from the very start.

Looking ahead, we see growth as an ongoing process—continually improving, expanding our reach, and finding new ways to serve our clients and community better. Every step, challenge, and success is part of building something sustainable and meaningful, and we’re excited for what’s next.
