Hidden Gems: Meet Greg Wright of Southern California Infusion Therapy

Today we’d like to introduce you to Greg Wright.

Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
Around 2010, I began covering anesthesia services for a neurology group that performed pain interventions. As part of their services, we started doing ketamine infusions. In 2019, I decided to start my own clinic, performing ketamine infusions. At that time, I did not know COVID was coming, so it was a bit of a hurdle to keep the doors open. Of course, for many months, there was very little happening in my anesthesia or infusion business. We made it through that trial and today are helping clients with pain and mood disorders with ketamine infusions.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
As mentioned, COVID was a big obstacle. Also, I thought we would get referrals from psychiatrists and therapists. That did not happen. I soon discovered that psychiatrists and therapists were not aware of what we were offering. Soon thereafter, CLIENTS began calling, looking for something new. It was not what I expected.

Great, so let’s talk business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
We are a small infusion clinic, located in Pasadena. We provide medically managed ketamine infusions for clients struggling with depression, anxiety, PTSD and pain syndromes. We deliver ketamine via the intravenous route, in a minimally stimulated, safe, comfortable environment. We believe the client is best served in this science & research driven style of ketamine delivery. We also provide resources for supportive care after infusions and followup. Additionally, we provide simple infusions for well-being such as NAD+, glutathione and Multi-Vitamins.

If you had to, what characteristic of yours would you give the most credit to?
Personal care. I care for each client. We are not a clinic looking to scale to multiple sites. I want to get to know each client and keep it personal. Health care has lost site of personal connection with automation, AI, remote receptionists and consolidation of businesses.

Pricing:

  • 50 minute infusions are $595
  • 2 hour infusions are $750
  • 4 hour infusions are $1000
  • Consultations are Free
