Hidden Gems: Meet Cristina Gamarnik of OC Divine Healing

Today we’d like to introduce you to Cristina Gamarnik.

Hi Cristina, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
My journey really began when I became a mother.

I went into motherhood feeling confident. As a speech-language pathologist with years of experience working with children and a strong background in child development, I thought I was prepared for what was ahead. But motherhood had other plans for me.

After having my first child, who is neurodivergent, I found myself navigating a world I hadn’t expected. At the same time, I was experiencing postpartum anxiety and a deep loss of identity—although I didn’t have the words for either of those things at the time. I felt overwhelmed, isolated, and without the kind of support system I desperately needed.

So, in many ways, I created what I was searching for.

I founded The Mommy Center as a place where mothers could find connection, education, community, and support during such a vulnerable season of life. What started from my own need for connection grew into a beautiful community, eventually welcoming more than 5,000 attendees through our classes and events.

As the business grew, so did my life. I was raising two children, running a company, and caring for my mother as she became ill. Eventually, carrying all of those roles became more than I could sustain.

Losing my mom changed me deeply. It became a turning point that made me look at my life differently and ask myself what I truly needed. I ultimately made the difficult decision to sell the company and give myself permission to begin my own healing journey.

That journey led me to become a Reiki practitioner and sound healer. And while the way I serve has evolved, one thing has remained constant: bringing women together.

Today, I continue creating spaces for women through women’s circles, sound healing events, and experiences centered around connection and healing.

Looking back, I can see that each chapter has led naturally into the next. What began as my own search for support became a community for thousands of families, and what began as my own healing journey has become a way to hold space for other women as they navigate theirs.

My path hasn’t been linear, but it has been deeply meaningful—and in many ways, I feel like I’m still becoming.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
It definitely hasn’t always been a smooth road, but I think so much of the beauty has been in the learning.

One of my biggest lessons has been learning to trust myself through seasons where I didn’t necessarily know what came next. Motherhood, entrepreneurship, loss, healing, and starting over have all asked me to become a new version of myself.

I’ve had to learn that it’s okay to pivot, to let go of something that once felt right, and to redefine success as I grow. I’ve also learned that we don’t have to have everything figured out before taking the next step.

Looking back, the challenges have taught me to be more present, more compassionate with myself, and much more open to where life is leading me. I’m still learning—and I think that’s part of what makes the journey so meaningful.

Appreciate you sharing that. What should we know about OC Divine Healing ?
At the heart of my work is a simple intention: to create spaces where women can come home to themselves while finding genuine community with other like-minded women.

I bring together women who are on their own paths of self-discovery, vulnerability, healing, and growth—women who are craving deeper connection, wanting to live more authentically, and learning how to slow down and regulate their nervous systems in a world that often asks us to do the opposite.

Through women’s circles, I create a space where women can feel truly seen and heard. There is something incredibly powerful about being able to show up without performing or having to have it all together. When we feel safe enough to share vulnerably and listen to one another, we can begin to hear our own inner voice more clearly and discover what is actually true for us.

I weave sound healing into these experiences using alchemy crystal bowls, creating an opportunity to move stagnant energy, reconnect with the body, and settle into a deeper state of rest and alignment. I also incorporate Cha Dao tea ceremony, a beautiful practice rooted in stillness, presence, and mindfulness that allows us to slow down and quiet the mind.

Together with my partner Amanda, who is also an intuitive Reiki Master and sound healer, I create intimate women’s circles, ceremonies, and retreats centered around connection, healing, and coming back to yourself.

I also have a special place in my heart for highly sensitive women because I am one myself. I understand how deeply we can feel and experience the world, and I’m intentional about creating spaces where sensitivity isn’t something that needs to be hidden or changed. Women can soften, take off the armor, and simply be who they are.

What I’m most proud of isn’t necessarily a specific offering—it’s the community that forms within these spaces. Seeing women arrive as strangers and leave feeling connected, understood, and a little more connected to themselves is what continues to inspire this work.

Ultimately, I want women to know that they don’t have to navigate their growth alone. There is something incredibly healing about being witnessed, supported, and reminded that there is a place where you can belong exactly as you are.

Who else deserves credit in your story?
There have been so many incredible women, healers, teachers, and space holders who have influenced my journey. One of the things I’ve learned along the way is that none of us grow in isolation—we learn so much from the people who cross our paths.

I’ve had the opportunity to learn from many gifted healers who have inspired me to explore different modalities and deepen my own practice. Amy from Nativ Healing has been especially meaningful in my journey. She introduced me to the beauty and sacredness of tea, and has been an incredible teacher as I’ve learned to incorporate Cha Dao and the practice of stillness into my life and work.

I’m also incredibly grateful for the community of women here in Orange County. I’ve had the gift of connecting and collaborating with so many women who own healing spaces, lead communities, and are doing beautiful work of their own. Instead of competition, I’ve experienced a beautiful sense of collaboration within this community—we share, learn from one another, support each other, and grow together.

And of course, the women who continue to show up to our circles, ceremonies, and events deserve so much credit as well. Their willingness to be vulnerable, open, and present is what actually creates the magic in these spaces. Every woman who enters the circle brings something that teaches and inspires me too.

This work has really shown me that healing and growth are not meant to happen alone. Community has been one of my greatest teachers.
