Hidden Gems: Meet Anayely Ramirez of Because u dessert it

Today we’d like to introduce you to Anayely Ramirez.

Hi Anayely, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
Everything started right on the pandemic on 2019 my job let me go and they use the excuse as the mandatory closing from the government due to Covid 19 . I couldn’t stay without income so I began taking a baking class online. And then and then took 10 week course in person in the city of Glendale. After that people were asking for decorations balloon arrangements and then decided to build packages as customers demanded and then after 4 years of back and forth we were able to open up our small business to an LLC, wasn’t easy at all as we face a lot of challenges in between all of this years but with my neighbors and the mayor Oralia Rebollo , Jessa Argumedo , Kevin Lanes from the city of commerce and city council members that supported me , my family and business was able to survive the hard times. Not forgetting my husband support I’m Deeply grateful to them. So thankful to god for still allowing me to build my business dream , for now is under the name Because u dessert it .

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
We most struggle was for people to see the value on our prices and time consuming on their orders for customized cakes , treats and decorations,
And financial advice,support to be able to purchase all the necessary equipment , supplies and materials .

Appreciate you sharing that. What should we know about Because u dessert it ?
We specialize on coordinating any event and bring memories to those who hire our services.

Can you tell us more about what you were like growing up?
I remember when I was a child telling my mom that I wanted to be either a police officer or to studie to become International business administrator.
I didn’t really like mathematics and went to college 2nd grade couldn’t finish due to financial difficulties that my parents were facing. And as a hobby love playing football soccer. . Won some championships and went to dance classes since I love dancing as well until I became an instructor.
