Exploring Life & Business with K-de Prado of The Sports Bet Queen Podcast ( The Sports Betting Queen )

Today we’d like to introduce you to K-De Prado.

K-De, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
I started betting at age 16 with friends and relatives mostly on sports and which teams would win games for the thrill and for some money here and there, I learned through my uncles whom I shared a bond with after being watched over by them that there were things called spreads and totals and what a money line was, then I got into playing cards and the all the other things that came with risking and gambling. Through my life and college I never really saw things clearly unless It was some sort of risk or wager. I used the skills I learned from experience and I really just streamlined it into my real life, it was more of a supplement really. From creating to envisioning my goal and to mastering the skill, it really made a huge difference into who I really came to be, and that’s the sports betting queen you see.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
The road wasn’t as smooth because being a gambler, bettor and when you are deemed as someone who takes risks or should I say “risk taker” there is always a side of struggle that no one ever sees. Being a woman made it really difficult because men would easily say without hesitation that I knew nothing about sports and so how could I possibly know who would win? Or that I’m just reading off something I learned from someone else or the prompt queue and that’s why or how I know. It was hard enough for historic handicappers and other women in my industry that had skill, but it was really something to prove a point and to make it consistent. For me, winning was more of a passion and it was about how many times can I make it happen rather than being satisfied after one or two wins. It was about determination and getting it done, understanding why and the drama of it all in sports betting.

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about The Sports Bet Queen (The Sports Betting Queen)?
The Sports Bet Queen-Crooks and Books podcast is a show that consists of NFL discussions on a week-to-week basis of all the NFL games in one season. It contains opinions on the teams playing against each other and which team would win in that week and why and going by the spread and total, which one each podcast host would pick and why. The breakdown of the teams and what the current state is what really drives a listener to tune in and listen more because this could be the very same thing they are thinking or quite the opposite, but regardless the opinion is there and they are free, they are part of the show and it engages everyone to compete with one another because when you come back the following week, you were either right or you were definitely wrong, and or maybe you got lucky. It makes it worth the listener’s time not only because of that feature but because there are guest speakers that come on the show that encourage these same listeners on their own opinions and or if they are biased or not.

Let’s talk about our city – what do you love? What do you not love?
I am from Los Angeles, CA and I’ve never ever loved another city more than mine because I was born and bred there, it’s town that when you leave, you’ll know why and when your back in town it always makes you feel at home. There is something about Los Angeles, CA that will never ever fade or die in my heart. As they say, it’s all about the women, weed and weather 🙂
