Today we’d like to introduce you to Eric Lin.

Hi Eric, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
Dr. Lin is a dedicated professional general dentist with a primary mission
of examining, diagnosing, and treating oral diseases. He has performed
top-notch preventive care and oral health care for several patients for
over seventeen years. He values integrity and respect as aspects that will
build better confidence and trust from the patients towards him.
Dr. Lin was born and raised in Provo Utah. After graduating from University
of Utah in 2003 with Bachelor of Science in Exercise and Sports Science he
left Utah to study at the University of Southern California where he
completed Doctor of Dental Surgery in 2007. After working in corporate
dental company for three years Dr. Lin built his own dental company in the
vibrant South Bay community in 2011, which he named K&E Family Dental
treating both adults and children in all aspects of dentistry and his office
equipped with the latest state of the art technology adhered to the
highest sterilization standards. Dr. Lin acquired memberships in various
American dental associations. Consumers’ Research Council of America and
Peer Reviewed Professionals have selected Dr. Lin as one of the America’s
Top Dentists in Cosmetic and General Dentistry.
Dr. Lin actively participates in community oral health events along with
other dentists from the state. In his free time, he enjoys spending time
outdoors from going camping, hiking, skiing, etc.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
After working in corporate dental company for three years Dr. Lin built his own dental company in the vibrant South Bay community in 2011, which he named K&E Family Dental treating both adults and children in all aspects of dentistry and his office equipped with the latest state of the art technology adhered to the highest sterilization standards.

Putting together a private practice from ground up is never easy and smooth road. Blood, sweat and tears. Putting together the right people has never been easy either but with the help of family and closest friends in the business world made everything impossible into possible. When you love what you do, you will always find a way to make things happen.

The bureau for private postsecondary education has approved our dental practice this July of 2025 to be the very first dental assisting academy in south bay. Oceanpointe Dental Assisting Academy will be officially launched this Fall to provide affordable education for all aspiring dental assistant and continuing education and training to all dental practitioners.
