Today we’d like to introduce you to Arianna Ross.
Hi Arianna, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
Hi! My name is Arianna Ross, and I am the founder of We could be., a coaching and breathwork practice based in Los Angeles.
I’ve always been a deep-feeler, drawn to introspection and personal growth. From my favorite class at UC Berkeley, Leadership and Personal Development, to seminars, books, and retreats, this world has long called to me. In my mid-20s, while living in London, I took a class at The School of Life that opened my eyes to the idea that helping people feel more alive and at home within themselves could be a career. That dream stayed with me even as I built a successful marketing career in tech—work that challenged me but never felt like a complete fit.
For over 12 years, I climbed the corporate ladder, performing at a high level, growing immensely, and often pushing my body and mind to their limits. I gravitated toward mission-driven companies and most recently spent four years building Calm’s Enterprise customer marketing program. Over time, though, I realized that while I had done everything I was “supposed” to do—worked hard, built a career, and checked all the boxes—something was off. I wasn’t living in a way that truly worked for me, and my body, mind, and spirit were asking for a deeper change.
As I got honest with myself, I saw that it wasn’t about finding a different role. It was about a bigger shift. I didn’t want to engage with healing work only as a recipient; I wanted to become a practitioner. I wanted to create a way of working that energized me, honored my unique gifts, and allowed for more freedom. In 2024, I completed my iPEC professional coaching training, and in 2025, I officially launched my business.
From the beginning, I knew I wanted to expand my impact beyond coaching. Breathwork entered my life through my own healing journey, and after my first training, I experienced its transformative power firsthand and felt called to bring it into my practice.
Today, my work brings me deep purpose as I help people move from thinking into feeling and believing, and ultimately into deeper healing and inner knowing. I know what it’s like to feel burnt out, out of alignment, and on the edge of something new. There is a real opportunity for alchemy in our lives, and it’s an honor to partner with others in that process.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
The road has not been smooth, but the twists and turns have been necessary for my own becoming. My initial plan was to build my business alongside my corporate career to maintain stability. Even though I was burnt out and dealing with an array of health challenges, the idea of simply quitting felt too terrifying. As often happens, the universe had different plans. On January 7, 2025, the morning of the devastating LA fires, I unexpectedly got let go from Calm. Much of my world and sense of stability were turned upside down. While I experienced shock and fear, I also felt relief. For the first time in a long while, space opened up for me.
I knew even before embarking on this journey that it would require me to confront a lot. While there were certainly financial challenges, the emotional hurdles were often more difficult to move through. For years, elements of my life—like a corporate salary or career identity—shielded me from having to look at the deeper patterns driving my behaviors. Once those were gone, all that was left was me.
Confronting my lack of self-belief was destabilizing, especially in the beginning, when I questioned whether or not I could make this new career work. While many factors, like finding clients, were out of my control, my belief in myself was not. This process forced me to shift some of my deepest patterns and begin to heal my relationship with myself.
While the experience was uncomfortable and at times terrifying, it was necessary to grow into the person, coach, and facilitator I am today. When all you know is one path, stepping onto a new one can feel particularly threatening to the nervous system. There is no playbook—you create it step by step. Returning to a sense of safety throughout the journey has been crucial.
Appreciate you sharing that. What should we know about We could be. ?
We could be. is a space for being and becoming. It’s a practice where people can pause, explore, and reconnect with themselves. As an iPEC Certified Professional Coach and breathwork practitioner, I help clients unblock what’s keeping them stuck so they can step into a life that feels more purposeful and alive. My approach is rooted in energy and the belief that meaningful change happens from the inside out.
I work with people who are ready to break cycles and shift limiting patterns, whether that means navigating burnout or moving beyond self-doubt. Together, we clarify goals and create a path forward that allows for real impact. Alongside my training and intuitive gifts, I bring over a decade of lived experience in the corporate world, so I understand the challenges of high-performance environments, the pressure to deliver, and navigating systems that may no longer fit.
What sets me apart is my integrated, deeply human approach. Through coaching and breathwork, we don’t just talk about growth, we embody it. Coaching brings clarity and direction, while breathwork helps release patterns at a deeper, somatic level. Many of my clients are high-achieving people used to living in their heads. While insight is important, I believe some of the most lasting shifts happen when we reconnect with the body.
I work with clients virtually and in person in a sunlit Pasadena studio, focusing on long-term partnerships for depth and sustainable transformation. I intentionally see a limited number of 1:1 clients at a time to maintain the depth and intentionality of the work. My offerings include coaching, breathwork, and group experiences.
Coaching is a collaborative process that explores the beliefs, emotions, and habits shaping your experience. Through reflection and embodied practices, such as exercises or journal prompts, we create practical shifts that compound over time. Breathwork is a guided, conscious breathing practice that supports emotional release, nervous system regulation, and reconnection to self. Each session is intentionally curated for the individual, from the music and pacing to the energetic focus of the experience. It can stand alone or be woven into coaching, creating space to feel deeply and release patterns the mind alone can’t reach.
I also facilitate workshops and group breathwork experiences to support collective transformation. My intention with all offerings is to create a safe, grounded space where people can explore, feel, grow, and be held in their process.
I’m proud to have built a brand that feels like an authentic expression of who I am. It’s earthy, honest, grounded, and expansive, reflecting the endless possibilities we all carry. Creating it from the ground up, including using my own film photography throughout my website, has been a fulfilling creative expression. And like the work itself, it will continue to evolve.
What quality or characteristic do you feel is most important to your success?
The quality most important to my success is my ability to truly see people—not just what’s spoken, but what’s happening beneath the surface. In my work with clients, I listen between the lines and intuitively reflect on what I notice with intention and care. This deep presence, combined with non-judgmental curiosity, creates a safe container for real, transformative work. Partnering with people on their journey of self-discovery is deeply personal, and I pride myself on thoughtfully meeting each client exactly where they are. I believe that this approach is integral to my success.
