Daily Inspiration: Meet Yvonne Diaz

Today we’d like to introduce you to Yvonne Diaz.

Hi Yvonne, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
I’ve always been a creative and have a very Alpha personality aka I like to be in contro! After many failed attempts at growing to enjoy a 9-5 I just found it wasn’t for me. Entrepreneurship and Philanthropic work is more my speed. I have a dark past involving drugs, prostitution & organized crime. I had to overcome a really ugly time in my life that I really should have never had been able to come out from. Overdosing was my final point and I was actually given a second chance at life when I didn’t deserve it. That’s when I knew I had to make the rest of my life count. Am I where I could be? Max potential no, not yet! Am I where I WANT to be?! Absolutely!

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
What’s a smooth road?! lol my life is anything but, however I wouldn’t have it any other way! I’m all about improv and adaptability!! We can plan, read, and practice all we want but how to manage “real life” is something that can’t be taught! It’s how we get through the tough times that make all the difference

I am a content creator specializing in UGC & Affiliate Marketing, an event host & manager to my 2 sons and their best friends grindcore band! I love that I get to have the flexibility and freedom of how and when I make my living.

It takes a lot to be able to manage others while being firm, caring and friendly at the same time! It’s not always rainbows and roses but I get it done with a smile after the poker face fades away.

If I’m not hosting an event or filming content you can catch me at a show and maybe in a mosh pit !!

How do you think about luck?
I don’t believe in luck, I’m more of a divine timing type a gal. Sure Lucky things happen here and there but based off my experience I truly believe we end up where we are destined to be if we follow the path that leads us there and often times it’s subconsciously until after we have seen the fruits of our labor and I believe that applies to all aspects of our lives. Like an epiphany.. we have those aha moments and it’s quite magical!
