Today we’d like to introduce you to Mickey Kravitz

Hi, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
I have been a musician since the age of 14, lead vocalist for the glam rock band Harlow formed in Kansas City Mo. Signed a record deal in the late 80’s and moved to Los Angeles, Ca. Being in a glam rock band hair was always a big deal. I have always taken care of my hair the best I knew how even after bleaching, dyeing, Blow dryers, flat irons, hair spray, etc.. over the years it takes a toll. The older we get your hair shows it.

I was never 100 % happy with any of my hair products over the years so I decided to take matters into my own hands and Started Mickey Alan Kravitz hair products and with my chemist we worked one on one together on each product. Every product was tested by me and other professional hair stylists. I made sure I was 100 % happy with every product and was approved with positive feedback from Los Angeles professional stylists.

I started with 2 products in 2012, an extra hold hair paste and hair spray and now we have expanded and specialize in hair growth support products as well. Vitamin & Volumizing Hair growth Shampoo & Pro-Vitamin & Shine Hair growth Conditioner and a purple version of the same for blonde hair, I also have a hair growth serum and eyelash growth serum with the award winning ingredient  Redensyl, A drug free treatment to restore your hair. In clinical studies, 85% of participants experienced significant hair growth in just three months. We have an eyebrow growth serum coming soon out as well.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
When I started I really didn’t want to know much about the beauty industry and business side of things because my goal was just to make great products that really worked. I learned as I went along. Like any business it has its ups and downs but I love what I do and have created, I was not going to put my name on anything unless I loved the product. One thing that stands out as being difficult is getting amazon reviews, for the most part happy people don’t really take the time to write reviews. I do get them and I’m very happy I do but as you may know unhappy people are the first to say something. That’s just part of doing business online in this day and time of the world.

Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I promote, promote and promote. I believe in the product line and love to spread the word. When I’m not working on the product line I write and record music.

Can you talk to us a bit about happiness and what makes you happy?
I love the whole process from researching and developing a new product, designing labels, finding the packaging, etc. it’s pretty amazing to see the finished product.
