Hi Lauren, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
Before founding Shapetress, Lauren Rock spent over a decade as an elite Executive Coach and Energy Healer, guiding Hollywood creatives, startup founders, and Fortune 500 executives to unlock their full potential.

While her clients were achieving inner clarity, many still struggled to feel empowered in their physical bodies. That disconnect inspired Lauren to create a space where personal evolution could continue on the outside—lovingly, safely, and without judgment.

Shapetress was born: a luxurious, high-tech wellness studio built to sculpt the body, restore confidence, and elevate the way we relate to our physical selves.

Shapetress isn’t a typical spa or med clinic. It’s a curated destination and a social shaping club where wellness meets technology, and every detail is designed to not only shape your body but also to reduce your stress while providing you with transformational tools, technology and community to optimize your life and body on all levels. These services are available at our Social Wellness Club in Santa Monica and also brought to you in the comfort of your own home for personal pampering and collective parties.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Starting a wellness brand right before a pandemic and educating the public about these new health enhancing technologies has been one of the most challenging I’ve ever done! Thank goodness for my magical machines that lower cortisol levels! Shapetress opened on Melrose Ave a few month before the start of the pandemic. In our first few month we were being scouted by top media and on the radar for prestigious morning shows and magazines and even a show but that all changed when the world shut down. During the pandemic, we were challenged to do deep dive on the deeper mission of SHAPETRESS: to help clients shape their lives on all levels and to seek out solutions that supported overall health while nurturing the immune system, the limbic system and the lymphatic system. This caused me to discover well researched but little known technologies such as X39 stem cell activation patches and PEMF devices which proved indispensible for boosting immune function and lowering cortisol levels as well as creating peace of mind in a a scary and uncertain time.
Coming out of the pandemic we opened 5 shared locations within Los Angeles where we were nestled into luxury hair salons, fitness centers, med spas and fashion ateliers, but while clients were enjoying their treatments and getting results, they really craved a private where they could throw on a silky robe and slippers, let their hair down and experience transformation together with their partners or friends in a fun, swanky and safe environment. Others were relishing the comfort of retreat and didn’t want to leave home and so in response SHAPETRESS created our home visit offerings where we could bring our transformational technology to clients at home.

We are also thrilled that we can now offer training and distribution of our Cryo Selene machine and our other specialized shaping machines to others that feel aligned with wellness movement and would like to start a studio of their own. We also offer collaborative Pop Ups where we bring this our technology to places as varied as yoga studios, law offices, film festivals and Fashion Week. In the next two years, we also plan to meet the demand for Shapetress services by bringing our luxury shaping studio to cities like Miami, Manhattan, Scottsdale and San Diego and our services will soon be featured at luxury hotel in 3 countries.. We look forward to collaborating with brands that are similarly dedicated to raising frequency, enhancing health and opening up new conversations around self-love, healthy aging, and our connection with self and others.

Shapetress is a unique social shaping studio that meets the needs of its clientele by providing a safe place to get support in their bodies and an understanding of our clients scheduling needs. We are the only wellness studio that offers early and evening shaping hours and we even host an alternative wave to “show up at the club.” At Shapetress our club night is a Social Shaping Club for mommies that we host on Tuesdays and Thursdays that feature transformative treatments, mood enhancing elixirs an the ability to meet new friends and get some much needed self care time away from the kids. What if I don’t want to leave the house?

If privacy is a priority or you are looking for something fabulous and new to do with friends, Shapetress offers luxury home visits and shaping parties.

Where else can I find these services?

Shapetress in-suite services are now being offered at luxury hotels, so guests may request a Shapetress session to take a couple of years off the face or a couple of inches off the body before they venture down to the pool on their next getaway.

Recently, the Shapetress team was called in for luxury shaping services for a four-day, 40th birthday party weekend for 5 women in Malibu.
