Daily Inspiration: Meet Kyler Kristo

Today we’d like to introduce you to Kyler Kristo

Hi Kyler, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
I’ve always wanted to live in Los Angeles since I was a little boy. I never had a dream job, my only dream was to live in Los Angeles and I knew from an early age I would do whatever is necessary to move here. When I was 15, I became inspired by other YouTubers who made story time content and began uploading videos of my own on YouTube. I have lots of stories to tell because my life is very chaotic in an amusing way. That’s why I’m currently writing a book based on my freshman year of high school. My YouTube started getting a lot of attention by age 16 due to a viral video of me talking about getting suspended in high school, the story time YouTube video even ended up getting me an interview with CBS and an interview on CNN national news. YouTube story times lost popularity, as did my channel, but I knew I could continue to monetize my life through social media. I was as active on Instagram, Twitter, Snapchat, and Tiktok as I was on YouTube. When I turned 18 I found myself struggling to see how I could make LA my reality. I was working at Walmart at the time as a cart pusher when I finally decided to launch an OnlyFans account, which ultimately led to my move to Los Angeles. Since then, I’ve invested a great deal of my money, started a Turo business and day trading crypto and stocks with my savings. I no longer have OnlyFans as a main source of income and am on the verge of starting an AirBnb business as well as trying to get into acting and modeling. My main priority right now is finishing my book though, which is done being written, I’m just in the revision stage now.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
It has been very bumpy. From making more than my parents at age 15 to making minimum wage by age 17, my income has always been inconsistent. When I started making more money again at age 18, I started to educate myself with YouTube videos how to be more financially savvy, knowing my current income was not a permanent source to rely on long term. I’m at a really good spot right now and I’m determined to only go up from here, by any means.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I’m definitely most known for my social media presence, whether that’s fitness related content on instagram, or viral controversial videos on TikTok. I think what sets me apart from others is I’m not afraid to say things that most creators would be afraid to say. From the start of my social media career, I’ve always been authentic to myself and saying exactly how I feel despite any draw backs.

Alright so before we go can you talk to us a bit about how people can work with you, collaborate with you or support you?
I’m always down to collaborate with brands to promote products on social media, as long as I truly enjoy the products. I’m at a point in my life where I’m not desperate for money. If I don’t like a product or if a brand isn’t willing to pay me for a collaboration, I will politely decline. I also have my CashApp/Venmo/Paypal linked to all social medias, my fans often send me tips for things like answering messages or follow backs.
