Today we’d like to introduce you to Kristin Delgadillo.
Hi Kristin, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I started my lifestyle blog and Instagram about five years ago when I moved to Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. I wanted to share what life was like living there. I moved back to California after two years and brands & photographers started to reach out and wanted to work with me and my influencing career skyrocketed since then.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It hasn’t. Like any career, it has its highs and lows, especially with the ever-evolving social media trends and trying to keep up with them. I also have had changes in my personal life and sharing my that struggle with my followers has made me realize I wanted to be more of an inspiration for my followers and show them how to learn and overcome obstacles in life.
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
When I started my blog and my Instagram, I loved sharing affordable fashion with local boutiques, travel and wine and still do. The opportunities of working with local Southern California wineries have lead me to travel to Germany and Bordeaux and share European wines and wines across the United States with my followers.
My social media has taken a turn in the last two years due to my divorce but it turned out to be a positive and me being an inspiration for a lot of my followers on sharing your worth. My followers have seen my life changes and made me want to keep sharing the positive in that has been going on in my life and being able to connect to people on a different level.
I realized that I wanted to more than another pretty face on social media and I wanted to change it up to be more of a positive influence for others and to share that your life struggles don’t define you but only is a learning process to make yourself better.
Is there anyone you’d like to thank or give credit to?
My close friends, family and followers and most of all, my faith in God deserve the most credit for how far I have come in my influencer career. I could not be where I am today and the opportunities I have had.
