Daily Inspiration: Meet Jadon Cal

Today we’d like to introduce you to Jadon Cal.

Hi Jadon, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today.
I was born into a family of storytellers. Always had it in me. From writing short stories to acting in plays and classes growing up, to even finding inspiration in other mediums, like books and video games… I found my love for story… 

Where I’m at today is simply a reflection and continuation of what I do every day: seek and tell stories that mean something and have a purpose. 

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Of course, it’s been rough. The arts is one of the toughest industries to make it in. Financials have always been hard to keep consistent with artistic work alone. But it comes and goes. Outside of financials, I haven’t come across anything that’s limited me. I’ve never worried too much about what people thought or said or what my situations in the midst of them felt like because I knew I’d end up being able to sustain myself like I do today with the grace of God and the support of family and friends around me.

In terms of acting, I’m always seeking roles that are the most challenging. Scary. Transformative. If it’s not hard it’s not fun. 

Can you talk to us a bit about happiness and what makes you happy?
Life. Every day is a gift. I’ve nearly lost my life multiple times. In that, I’ve realized the blessing of being alive.
