Today we’d like to introduce you to Eliott.
Eliott, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
I was born and raised in Los Angeles, and I’ve always been drawn to the intersection of entertainment, culture, business, and bringing people together. My path has been pretty unconventional. I’m an attorney by profession, but over the years I’ve also worked as a photographer, actor, content creator, and entrepreneur. Those different worlds gave me a unique perspective on how Los Angeles is built around relationships.
That all eventually led me to LUPFR Entertainment, which I co-founded with the goal of creating events that feel more intentional than a typical night out. We wanted to build experiences that bring together music, creators, and unique venues in a way that feels fresh and distinctly Los Angeles. One of the projects we’ve been building is SEA // SIDE, a waterfront event concept that combines music, atmosphere, and community. What started as an idea has grown into something we see as a much larger platform for events, collaborations, and culture.
A lot of my background feeds directly into what we’re doing with LUPFR. Years of working around the entertainment world have helped me build relationships across different creative communities. Ultimately, LUPFR is where a lot of those different parts of my life come together.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It definitely has not been a smooth road. I came into the event space with some familiarity, but I was still very much a newbie to the industry. In this space, you can have a great concept and still run into issues with turnout, promotion, costs, or execution. Every event teaches you something, and sometimes the lessons are expensive.
For me personally, the biggest challenge has been balancing LUPFR with the other areas of my life and career. I’ve always had a lot of different interests, so learning how to focus that energy and build something with consistency has been important. At the same time, every challenge has made us sharper and given us a much better understanding of what it takes to build LUPFR into something lasting.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I think what really sets me apart is my ability to connect different worlds. I sort of sit at the intersection of law, entertainment, media, and entrepreneurship, and I’m constantly finding ways to meld those parts of my life into something that feels cohesive and uniquely me. I’m able to look at an opportunity creatively, legally, commercially, and from a media perspective at the same time.
I’ve built relationships with models, influencers, creators, restaurants, media outlets, and people across different parts of the entertainment industry. That gives me a pretty unique ability to connect people and opportunities that might not otherwise cross paths.
I’m especially proud of what we’re building with LUPFR and SEA // SIDE. We’re building something from scratch and learning how to turn relationships, creativity, and ideas into a real company with its own identity.
Is there any advice you’d like to share with our readers who might just be starting out?
Trust your gut. A lot of the best decisions I’ve made started with an instinct that didn’t necessarily make sense to everyone else at first. People tend to resist what they don’t understand, so if you’re doing something unconventional, you have to get comfortable with being misunderstood.
Optionality is another big one for me. You don’t need to lock yourself into one identity or one path. Give yourself room to evolve, experiment, and pursue opportunities that may be unexpected or untraditional.
And probably most importantly, stop caring so much about what everyone else thinks. The quickest way to kill a big idea is to introduce it to a small mind. Don’t let other people’s fear or limited imagination become your ceiling.
