Hi Ammala, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
Hello, My name is Ammala and this is my story. I was born into a first-generation immigrant family from Thailand, I encountered the challenge of learning English at the age of 12 due to spending four initial years in refugee camps. Despite growing up on public assistance, not speaking english, and lacking a father figure, I excelled academically, discovering my passion for arts and language. Eventually I pursued a major in textile design and color theory at the Academy of Art University in San Francisco.
In the following years, my love for fashion and photography grew. While juggling a full-time job in corporate America, I dedicated over 15 years to mastering the craft of photography. My work has been published in numerous wedding magazines, and I have had the opportunity to travel the world, capturing beautiful weddings. One notable event was a wedding in Cancun, which boasted an all-star celebrity guest list that included Sofia Vergara. Furthermore, my portrait work has been featured on CNN, Good Morning America, and other notable news networks.
However, after many years in the industry, my passion for photography began to fade. In 2020, the pandemic prompted a shift in my career trajectory, leading me to explore social media. Drawing upon my personal Instagram page, where I had already showcased my skills, I ventured into content creation. This transformative move opened doors to new job offers from various businesses and corporations, as social media became an indispensable marketing tool for countless entrepreneurs.
In 2022, I had the privilege of collaborating with icons like Larry Fitzgerald, creating compelling content for his social media platforms and supporting his non-profit organization, thelarryfitzgera
Grateful for these meaningful collaborations, I made the decision to leave corporate America in January 2024, fully committing myself to content creation. My background in photography and art education serves as the foundation for crafting captivating content. I am self-taught in photography, video editing, and formatting, drawing inspiration from mentors I’ve encountered throughout my life journey and resources like YouTube University. I firmly believe that with determination, effort, and patience, anyone can achieve their dreams. I eagerly anticipate where this new journey will lead me.

I specialize in content creation, where I assist my clients in bringing their stories to life through captivating visuals. What truly sets me apart from others in this field, and forgive me if it sounds egotistical, is my personality. While many individuals can excel at their craft, I possess a unique attribute—I am a people person. I thrive in the role of a facilitator, ensuring that every aspect of the creative process runs smoothly. From providing direction to serving as a resource for securing wardrobes or sets and even taking care of the team’s lunch arrangements, I am always willing to go the extra mile. I firmly believe that creating something extraordinary requires a collaborative effort, and I am committed to playing my part as a dedicated team player.
What does success mean to you?
My idea of success has shifted throughout my life. Initially, I associated it with material possessions, but I’ve come to realize that true success is defined by happiness and fulfillment. Witnessing individuals who possess everything yet remain unhappy made me reevaluate my perspective. Now, success to me means living in alignment with my life purpose and finding fulfillment therein. It’s about pursuing a path that brings joy and meaning, transcending external markers of success. By prioritizing fulfillment and meaningful contributions, I believe I can attain a truly successful life.
