Today we’d like to introduce you to Vernon Jackson
Vernon, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
I started out as a professional choreographer in Hollywood choreographing and performing on television shows such as A Different World, Fresh Prince of Bel Air, Sister Sister, The NAACP Image Awards, choreographer of the Movie House Party 2, Commercials, Tours and then I transitioned into teaching kids step and dance which is the reason I opened my step, dance and mentoring company
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
I have actually had a smooth transition into my company
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I teach step, dance and I have a mentorship program incorporated into my company
What are your plans for the future?
I plan on opening a dance studio and a school for inner city kids
