Hi Sherrie A, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
Hello, my name is Sherrie Robinson. I’m an Author of my first published book: Beauty For Ashes The Actual Truth about love it’s not a fairytale and now a Life Coach of Arise and Shine Life Coaching. I started off in this journey as a healing process. I was married in 2021 and unfortunately the marriage quickly dissolved. As a result I experienced heartache and needed an outlet and writing became my solace. I’m so grateful for my experience because I’ve been able to grow and better help others through my testimony.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
No, it’s definitely not been a smooth path but I wouldn’t change a thing about my journey either! I’m very fortunate that my faith has played a major role in who I am and my resilient nature in life. I had to endure heartache due to a failed marriage that left me with a wounded self image. I’m in a better emotional place due to prayer, therapy and the love I received from family/friends.

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
So being an Author has been one of the best decisions I’ve made in life. In addition I’m a Life Coach and I get the opportunity to work with individuals who benefit from my experience and wisdom. I’m currently hosting my first event through my company. The event Girl,Get Up! Empowerment Conference and Brunch was an assignment that I’m honored to take on and look forward to the day of the event.

What were you like growing up?
I was a very quiet, introverted child. I unfortunately was very insecure and unsure of myself. However I’m grateful for my personality because it given me a great opportunity to listen and observe the world around me in a better way.
