Today we’d like to introduce you to Mike Liu
Hi Mike, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
I’ve always been fascinated by how people engage with content—what makes something stick, why certain ideas spread like wildfire, and how technology can shape the way we learn and communicate. My journey to founding FreeFuse started from a mix of curiosity, problem-solving, and a drive to build something that actually moves the needle.
Early on, I saw a major gap in how businesses, educators, and brands interacted with their audiences. Most digital content was one-size-fits-all, passive, and easily ignored. There was no dynamic conversation happening, no personalization at scale, no way to truly guide users through an experience that adapts to them. That was a huge opportunity.
The idea for FreeFuse came from asking a simple question:
What if video wasn’t just something you watched, but something you actively participated in?
That led to the foundation of FreeFuse—a platform where video content transforms into interactive journeys, real-time decision-making tools, and AI-powered engagement experiences. We built something that doesn’t just push information but pulls users into meaningful interactions, driving better learning, better decision-making, and better business results.
The road wasn’t linear. We had to navigate building the technology, validating use cases, and working with companies to prove that interactive engagement wasn’t just a “nice-to-have”—it was the future of how businesses train, market, and communicate. Over time, FreeFuse evolved into something much bigger than just interactive video—it became an ecosystem for intelligent content delivery, AI-driven training, and scalable customer engagement.
Fast forward to today, FreeFuse is being used across corporate training, healthcare, franchising, consulting, and AI-driven sales automation. We’re at the center of a new era of AI-enhanced engagement, where decision intelligence, automation, and personalized content experiences create real revenue growth and operational efficiency for businesses.
For me, this journey has been about pushing boundaries, rethinking engagement, and constantly asking “What’s next?”. FreeFuse is just getting started, and I couldn’t be more excited about where we’re headed.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
If anyone tells you entrepreneurship is a smooth road, they’re either lying or haven’t gone deep enough yet. The reality? It’s a constant cycle of problem-solving, adapting, and pushing through uncertainty.
One of the biggest challenges early on was educating the market. FreeFuse wasn’t just another video platform—it was about redefining how people engage with content. That meant convincing businesses that interactive video wasn’t just a “cool feature” but a fundamental shift in how they could train, market, and communicate. Getting buy-in wasn’t instant. We had to prove the ROI of engagement, showing real-world examples where interactive content drove higher retention, better learning outcomes, and actual revenue growth.
Tech hurdles were another beast. Building a platform that’s intuitive yet powerful, scalable yet customizable—that’s not easy. We ran into countless iterations to ensure that the experience was seamless for both content creators and users. Integrating AI in a way that enhances, rather than overcomplicates, the experience was another major focus. The goal was always to create something that felt natural, not just another piece of tech that people struggle to implement.
Then there’s the challenge every startup faces: getting the right people in the room. FreeFuse needed partners, clients, and advocates who understood the vision and could help us expand its impact. Finding those strategic relationships took time, trial, and a lot of conversations where we had to filter out distractions and focus on high-value partnerships.
Funding and scaling were their own set of challenges. Do we bootstrap or raise capital? How do we grow sustainably while staying innovative? Every decision mattered. At times, it felt like building the plane while flying it, but that’s part of the process.
Through all of it, the key lesson has been resilience and iteration. No challenge is permanent, and every setback is a chance to refine, improve, and come back stronger. The road isn’t smooth—but that’s what makes the journey worth it.
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I build ecosystems that connect people, technology, and AI in ways that actually make an impact. As the founder of FreeFuse, my work revolves around interactive media, AI-driven engagement, and creating scalable solutions for businesses looking to grow smarter. I specialize in turning passive content into dynamic experiences—whether that’s in training, customer engagement, or decision intelligence.
What sets FreeFuse apart—and by extension, what sets me apart—is that I don’t see content as just information to be consumed. I see it as an experience, an evolving conversation between the creator and the audience. And with AI, we now have the power to personalize those experiences at scale, making interactions more intuitive, more engaging, and ultimately, more effective.
I’m most proud of the ecosystem we’re building. FreeFuse isn’t just a platform—it’s a network of industry experts, consultants, and AI-powered tools that are helping businesses make better decisions, train more effectively, and create personalized customer journeys. Watching our partners and users take what we’ve built and use it to drive real results—that’s what makes all of this worth it.
At my core, I specialize in seeing the bigger picture, identifying gaps in how people engage with content, and building solutions that don’t just patch problems, but fundamentally change the game. Whether it’s through AI-driven learning paths, decision intelligence with PathIQ, or interactive video experiences, I’m always looking at how technology can make engagement more meaningful, more valuable, and more human.
How can people work with you, collaborate with you or support you?
I’m always open to collaborating with people who see the bigger picture—those who are interested in AI-driven engagement, decision intelligence, and ecosystem-building. Here’s how we can work together:
