Today we’d like to introduce you to Lindsey Heggans.

Lindsey Heggans

Hi Lindsey, so excited to have you on the platform. So, before we get into questions about your work life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today.
I started acting when I was little; I knew I also did competitive dance team. I’ve grown up around theater, my whole entire life in the arts so that was something that was always special to me and my family. My mom also did theater and modeling as well, so I always had her someone to always talk with. I was blessed to be a part of bravo, Performing Arts Academy, which gave me incredible opportunities getting to work with MTI going to JT of which is where I fell in love with (Film) after getting to do a few short films, I really fell in love with it and the side of this is what I wanted to do. I’ve gotten the chance to work with so many amazing people, and I’ve had bumps along the way as well. I was diagnosed with type one diabetes in elementary school, and I want to use my platform to also raise awareness for it. I’ve always tried to keep my medical equipment and things that are film-related or modeling-related because it was always important to me to show representation as well. But I’m not acting and modeling. I also do film production, from AD work to special effects makeup. I also these don’t work, and I’m gonna question as well. I’ve trained off the truck resources and I’ve also competed as well. Finding a balance in my life is very important to me.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall, and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Some challenges I’ve definitely have had is I have type one diabetes, and I have ADHD. Reading wasn’t something that I love to do, but when it came to acting in pursuing the arts is something that came easy for me. I was always a math kid, lol

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
I am an actor full-time, but I also do modeling and some social media work as well. I like to educate as many people as I can about type one diabetes, and about off track resources, animals, and finding peace in life and balance of some things so important to me that I try to share with absolutely everyone I didn’t use to have consistency and I used to stress all the time. I also have anxiety, so I try to use my Instagram platform to be a safe place for many People. I also a part of a production company where we run at like a family. It’s great to work with other talented, creative, who also love to work hard.

If we knew you growing up, how would we have described you?
I’ve always been a very bright and talkative kid since I’ve been little, and exploring was always something I love to do, but it wasn’t until I got to meet Reagan Hughes that I gained a ton of confidence in myself. I’m a very honest person. And if it wasn’t for her, I wouldn’t have the confidence that I have in myself. I love myself and the person who I’ve become today and a lot of that was finding out who I am and what I love to do. Originally, I thought I wanted to be a dancer, but I couldn’t stay away from acting. Even when I went into horseback riding, full-time acting was always still there.
