Hi Jessy, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
Beginning my career as an assistant in 2011, I quickly immersed myself in the dynamic world of fashion styling. Working alongside A-List celebrities and pop stars, I honed my skills and built a reputation for excellence. My dedication and talent led to a significant milestone when I was signed by The Wall Group creative agency. This opportunity allowed me to expand my client base while continuing to serve my existing clients.

My journey has taken me across the globe, where I’ve worked in various capacities including costuming, red carpet events, advertising campaigns, commercial projects, and personal styling for private clients. Throughout my career, I’ve had the privilege of styling renowned personalities such as Miley Cyrus, Christina Aguilera, Sophia Carson, Lizzy Caplan, and many more, solidifying my standing in the fashion industry.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Every career experiences its share of highs and lows, and the Covid pandemic was undeniably a significant disruptor in the industry. However, it also steered me in a new direction. I now focus extensively on personal styling for private clients worldwide. This shift not only enables me to work remotely but also allows me to devote more time to raising my 3-year-old daughter as a single mother.

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
Fashion has been an integral part of my life for as long as I can remember. Growing up surrounded by glamorous women, I spent countless hours flipping through the pages of Vogue, Elle, W Magazine and visiting Paris during fashion week, dreaming of the world I would one day immerse myself in. With over a decade of experience as a fashion stylist, my journey has been deeply fulfilling and marked by some truly unforgettable moments.

One of my proudest accomplishments is my work in the music industry, dressing some of the most iconic voices of our time. Collaborating with extraordinarily creative individuals to bring another world to life on stage or in music videos has been a unique and exhilarating experience. My passion for merging music and fashion has shaped my career, providing a foundation that distinguishes me from many red carpet stylists. This fusion of art forms has allowed me to communicate my creativity in ways that resonate deeply with both artists and audiences.

Can you talk to us about how you think about risk?
I have always been drawn to taking risks, embracing the mantra of “high risk, high reward.” This adventurous spirit particularly shines through in my work with new clients. As a stylist, the job is deeply personal, and I revel in the process of understanding and immersing myself in my clients’ worlds, even when they are entirely unfamiliar to me. By embracing these challenges, I have expanded my clientele and grown my business, allowing me to travel the globe and continually evolve in my craft.
