Hi Jeremiah, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
My journey into full-time entrepreneurship began in 2020, right in the heart of the pandemic. The world was uncertain, but something in me knew it was time to take a leap of faith and fully trust the gifts God placed inside me. I walked away from comfort and security to chase purpose and it’s been the best decision I’ve ever made.
Not long after, I landed my first major opportunity with Sheen Magazine. That moment became a turning point. It opened doors for me to connect and collaborate with incredible influencers and artists across both the entertainment and gospel industries. Each project since then has reminded me that faith and consistency can take you places talent alone can’t.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
The road definitely hasn’t been smooth. In 2023, I was involved in a car accident that left me without transportation for quite some time. As a freelance photographer, that was one of the most challenging seasons of my career. I had clients depending on me, shoots to show up for, and a vision I refused to let die.
For nearly three years, I relied on Ubers and rental cars to make it to my sessions and not one client ever knew what I was going through behind the scenes. That experience taught me resilience on a whole new level. It showed me what it truly means to keep showing up, even when the circumstances don’t line up. It built a strength in me that I carry into every project I touch today.
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I’m a freelance photographer and multi-hyphenated creative who’s passionate about telling stories through portraits. I’m best known for my studio work and my ability to capture the true essence of a person, not just how they look, but how they feel. My goal with every session is to help my clients see themselves the way God sees them; radiant, confident, and beautifully made.
One of the things I’m most proud of is the full experience I create for each client. From the music and the energy in the room to refreshments and helping finalize the overall look, I want every detail to feel intentional. It’s more than just a photoshoot, it’s a moment to celebrate who they are.
What sets me apart is my humility, my character, and my creative versatility. I take pride in being able to capture the same look in multiple lighting styles while maintaining a clean, timeless editing approach. At the heart of it all, I just love making people feel seen.
