Today we’d like to introduce you to Jennifer Loura

Hi Jennifer, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
I’m a graphic designer turned Celebrity Hair Stylist! After many years growing up in the art world and eventually attending college for design, I decided Hair was my true calling. I worked and trained in Boston and NYC and then eventually made it to LA to break into the Celebrity world of hair, which has always been a dream of mine! Moving to LA has been one of my many favorite decisions and it has been such an amazing ride since I landed. I made my name through working with stellar professionals and people who really know hair inside and out, and for this I am so grateful!

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
For the most part it has been a smooth road, I stayed focused and reminded myself daily that I was here to create amazing hair and ended up making a great name for myself. The biggest struggle was leaving my family back in Boston, I missed them a lot, but they knew how much I wanted to be here so they understood with lots of love. Once I was in LA and met the right people it was onward and upward from there, I realized good professional people really want to help other good people attain their dreams if they worked hard enough. I’m thankful to all of whom gave me a chance.

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I specialize in Women and Men’s cutting and styling, and Men’s Grooming (hair and makeup). I’m known for an effortless, glamorous looking texture when it comes to styling and vibe, and known for beautiful, long layered cuts. What sets me apart from the rest is my technical and artistic approach to hair, as well as a welcoming and warm personality. My clients feel at ease and the experience is professional and playful once they’re in my chair. It’s a win-win!
