Conversations with Heather Kathryn

Today we’d like to introduce you to Heather Kathryn

Hi Heather, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
I started performing when I was a child and never really stopped. I was the center of attention and I loved every second of it *laughs* I formed a band in college and started performing all over LA in 2022. Over the last two-ish years I’ve played some of my dream venues including Whisky A-Go-Go, The Viper Room, The Troubadour and The Hollywood Palladium. I can’t wait for what’s coming next!

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Nothing in life is ever easy! It’s taken a million smiles, a million laughs and a million mental breakdowns to get to where I am today but I wouldn’t trade it for the world.

As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
I’m a pop-punk singer-songwriter based in Los Angeles, California. I’m most proud of my debut EP ‘MY TRAGIC LIFE’ which features 6 songs all about different things I’ve been through.

If you had to, what characteristic of yours would you give the most credit to?
There are so many qualities and characteristics that are important to my success it’s hard to just pick one thing. But I think staying true to myself is probably the most important thing because a lot of people tend to lose themselves throughout the process and forget what/who they’re doing it for.
