Today we’d like to introduce you to Anya Kalia
Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
Acting has always been my passion! From a very young age, I knew that I wanted to pursue the field professionally. I love being able to immerse myself into different characters. I have always enjoyed writing scripts and filming short films with my friends. When high school started, I began auditioning for projects. It has been such a fun process and I have enjoyed every minute of it. I would love to continue acting forever as it makes me so happy!
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Since acting has always been something that I love doing, I enjoy everything about it! There is a lot of rejection that comes along in this industry, but it is important to stay motivated and keep moving forward. Having determination is key as it will definitely pay off in the end! If you didn’t get a role you wanted, just remember that there are so many opportunities out there and to continue having a strong mindset.
Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
The profession of acting is what I love to do! I like being able to perform in front of a camera and give a performance that tells a story to an audience. Whenever I am on set, I make sure that I am always prepared and that I have a positive attitude. Overall, I am grateful to have participated in projects such as feature and short films, commercials, photo shoots, theater productions, and voiceover work.
Can you talk to us a bit about happiness and what makes you happy?
There are so many things that I enjoy doing! I definitely love hanging out with my friends and going to new places with them. I always have so much fun and get to make so many memories. I also enjoy going to boxing classes as it is a great way to workout! Additionally, I like acting and being on set as I get to meet new people and do what I love!
