Conversations with Adrianna Miller

Today we’d like to introduce you to Adrianna Miller.

Hi Adrianna, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I grew up in both Chicago and Los Angeles with a passion for event planning and self-expression. After earning a degree in Business Administration with a focus on Entrepreneurship, I also studied electrical construction — which gave me both the creative and technical mindset to build something of my own.

In 2025, I launched Rida Nation, a Black woman-led motorcycle lifestyle brand born from a desire to carve out space for women—especially women of color—in a culture where we’re often underrepresented. What started with a few graphic totes and hats has evolved into a growing movement. We now host moto meetups that fuse riding with community experiences—like roller skating, billiards, and creative collaborations with fellow riders and event organizers like Houses of Luv ( June and Zuhuru) across L.A.

This summer, we’re gearing up for one of our biggest events yet: House of Throttle: Queer Takeover—a celebration of music, movement, and visibility with DJs, live bands, vendors, a pool tournament, and a motorcycle stunt show. It’s more than just an event—it’s a statement about who belongs in this space.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It definitely hasn’t been a smooth road. One of the biggest challenges has been planning events from the ground up with limited resources. From securing venues to coordinating vendors and making sure people actually show up—it’s a lot of pressure. There were moments where I doubted if it would all come together, but each challenge pushed me to get more creative and resourceful. I’ve learned that building something meaningful takes patience, flexibility, and a strong community.

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I’m the founder of Rida Nation, a Black woman-led motorcycle lifestyle brand rooted in empowerment, creativity, and community. Through apparel, media, and events, we create inclusive spaces where women—especially women of color—feel seen and celebrated in the moto world.

I specialize in curating culture-forward experiences that merge biker life with art, music, and street style. I’m known for hosting unique events like moto meetups, rollerskating nights, and pool tournaments—blending underground vibes with genuine connection.

What I’m most proud of is turning an idea into a movement. I started with just a couple of hats and tote bags, and now we’re throwing full-scale events like our upcoming House of Throttle: Queer Takeover, which brings together DJs, stunt riders, and local creatives for an unapologetic celebration of queer biker culture.

What sets me apart is that I’m not just building a brand—I’m building community. I’m intentional about representation, storytelling, and making sure our presence in these spaces is both powerful and permanent. Rida Nation isn’t just about motorcycles—it’s about reclaiming space, building confidence, and riding your own way.

Before we let you go, we’ve got to ask if you have any advice for those who are just starting out?
My biggest advice is: start where you are, with what you have. Don’t wait until it’s perfect or until you feel “ready”—just start moving. The clarity, confidence, and community will come with time.

I wish I had known earlier that you don’t have to do everything alone. Ask for help, collaborate, and don’t be afraid to reach out to people who inspire you. Also, protect your energy—every opportunity isn’t the right one, and not everyone will understand your vision at first. That’s okay.
