Community Highlights: Meet Veronica of Keller Williams Luxury

Today we’d like to introduce you to Veronica.

Hi Veronica, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I’ve been drawn to real estate since I was a little girl. My dad and I would spend weekends wandering through open houses—I’d grab the flyers, ask a million questions, and pretend to be his agent. Looking back, those playful moments were the spark that led me to the career I love today.

Before real estate, I worked in feline veterinary medicine as the doctor’s right hand. That role taught me precision, compassion, and how to be fully present for people in important moments—skills that became the foundation of how I now serve clients.

About a year after joining Keller Williams, I was fortunate to connect with Meny Atias, who gave me guidance and support that helped me navigate the industry with greater confidence—and who continues to be a source of support for me to this day.

Now, as Operations Director with Dunn Team Real Estate, I play an integral role in driving the business forward alongside Shira Dunn, where from the start we’ve had an amazing connection that makes our work together so rewarding. While much of my work happens behind the scenes, I make it a priority to be present and available—whether it’s supporting another agent, bouncing ideas around with colleagues, or guiding one of my own clients through the process.

For me, being a woman in real estate means leading with integrity, resilience, and joy. It’s about showing up fully, lifting others up, and collaborating in ways that make the journey—whether in business or in life—meaningful and fun.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It hasn’t always been a smooth road, but every twist and turn has taught me something valuable. Like most agents, I went through my fair share of trial and error—starting out on my own, figuring out how to build a business from scratch, and later learning what it takes to lead within a team. Those challenges weren’t setbacks; they were stepping stones that pushed me to grow in ways I never expected.

The truth is, real estate isn’t your typical 9-to-5. People love the idea of being your own boss, but the reality is closer to a 24/7 career. That’s why structure and discipline are so important—without them, it’s easy for the work to take over your life. Learning how to set that balance has been a big part of my growth.

Now, almost eight years later, I feel rooted in this business and in my company. I get to wake up each day doing what I love, surrounded by people who inspire me—and that makes every lesson along the way more than worth it.

Great, so let’s talk business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I wear two hats in real estate—I manage operations for Shira Dunn and Dunn Team Real Estate, and I also run my own business with my own clients. It keeps me on my toes, but I love it. We’re part of Keller Williams Luxury in The Valley, connected to sister offices across the South Bay, Palos Verdes, and Long Beach, with over 1,000 agents specializing in both residential and commercial real estate. It feels powerful to be part of something bigger, while still keeping my work deeply personal.

What sets me apart is the balance I bring between luxury-level service and genuine, people-first relationships. Behind the scenes, I’m the one fine-tuning systems, keeping the gears turning, and making sure our team runs smoothly. But I also get to step into the front lines with my own buyers and sellers—making sure they feel cared for, informed, and excited about the process.

Real estate is constantly changing, but my edge is consistency—showing up with integrity, discipline, and compassion. Brand-wise, I’m most proud that my reputation reflects those values: when people work with me, they know they’re getting someone personally invested in their success.

Every client’s story is different, and I tailor my approach to fit their needs—whether it’s guiding a first-time buyer step by step or managing all the details for a busy family’s move. At the heart of it, my brand is about being present, dependable, and making sure people know they matter.

What do you like best about our city? What do you like least?
What I love most about our city is the diversity and energy—there’s truly something for everyone. From the neighborhoods to the food to the culture, every pocket of the city has its own personality, and that makes it such an exciting place to live and work in real estate.

What I like least is probably the pace—it moves fast, and yes, the traffic is part of the package. But I see that as part of the city’s rhythm. It’s a reminder to slow down when I can, to be intentional with my time, and to really appreciate the moments of calm and connection that balance out the buzz.
