Community Highlights: Meet Tiana Phenix of B Unlimited Creative Agency

Today we’d like to introduce you to Tiana Phenix.

Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
I have always had a love for Fashion, Architecture and The Arts. Any kind of creative expression was moving to me. However, since I was trained by grandmother as a child to be business savvy, I simply had knack for business. So I decided after so many years to combine my love of community, business and creativity to serve a need for underrepresented entrepreneurs in the global marketplace by starting B Unlimited Creative Agency. A 360-degree branding and consulting agency. I serve dreamers. I serve the urban community across the United States to provide access to branding, product development, start-up services and strategy. I simply love what I do and have a gift not a talent for what I do. The secret to the success of B Unlimited Creative is the opportunity to propel marginalized entrepreneurs into the marketplace by giving them access to the services they need to get them in the door by way of a very individualized process. I don’t believe in a one size fits all approach to business especially for creatives. I have the community to thank for allowing me to help them and I am ever grateful for a successful business that has simply thrived off of referrals rather than marketing.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It has not been a smooth road. I am the eldest of four children and the first to gain an undergraduate degree. 2 years after starting this business the pandemic hit and as the world knows the mental, emotional, and financial stress of existing in such a volatile state was very difficult. I started my business in 2018 with an 8plus Iphone and an old apple laptop dating back to 2013. Can you imagine designing websites on a laptop like that? I didn’t buy a new one until 2020. I have endured losses and hardships like everyone else. Being a mindfulness and meditation practitioner has really helped me and many others navigate through turbulent waters.

We’ve been impressed with B Unlimited Creative Agency, but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Since 2018 B Unlimited Creative Agency is a one-stop business solution for creatives. The company prides itself on offering business coaching and services to align entrepreneurs with their business goals and to help them successfully launch their services and or products. This includes graphic design, product development, web design, social media marketing and legal services such as business filings, trademarks and copyrights. B Unlimited is based in Philadelphia, PA and has successfully serviced over 250 clients throughout the United States. B Unlimited Creative works with every client not only to launch into successful entrepreneurship but to also to coach clients in the areas of social impact, self-development, integrity and to always be guided by holistic solutions.

Every single day I think of being a digital nomad. However, I believe in putting down roots and having a home base. I haven’t figured out the middle ground yet. Also this year, I published a series of Adult Coloring Books to aid in mindfulness, manifestation and anti-anxiety. The Divine Goddess Series. I also created a dream journal.
