Community Highlights: Meet Greg Gregorian of Lunar Branding

Today we’d like to introduce you to Greg Gregorian.

Hi Greg, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
I started Lunar Branding nine years ago. And business is booming! When I started my company, I felt like I found my Ikigai, this is a Japanese Venn diagram of mixing your passion, profession, mission, and vocation. I got where I am today because working on my business never feels like work because I am passionate about what I do, which is providing high-quality customized merchandise on time for all my clients. I’ve also expanded my business into the government contracting sector, which has really increased revenue because my status as a service-disabled veteran-owned small business helps me secure contracts. Also by staying involved in my community with different Chambers of Commerce, veteran organizations, and the Armenian community, this has helped me expand my reach and customer base.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
It definitely has not been a smooth road. I’ve had my fair share of ups and downs. Challenges such as hiring and firing, cash flow pinches as business increases, and workflow kinks I had to sort out. As I acquired new clients at a faster rate. I had to learn how to adapt my systems. This is where AI has been a huge player for me, especially with Claude. I’ve been able to solve a lot of the technical glitches on my backend a lot faster than having to outsource or hire it out to somebody. Other struggles I’ve had along the way are par for the course with business, such as customer service, shipping issues, and sometimes production issues. No problems are insurmountable, though. Each one helps me refine my SOPs.

Great, so let’s talk business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
Lunar Branding is a service-disabled, veteran-owned small business that specializes in high-quality customized merchandise and outfitting organizations with stellar swag. We help clients by becoming an extension of their marketing team, or their marketing team if they do not have one. We help craft and curate presentations based on each customer’s intent for the merchandise, as well as matching with their brand’s fonts, colors, and themes. I would say our client experience as well as our customer service absolutely sets us apart from our competitors. What I’m most proud of brand-wise is how recognizable I am not just to my clients and to the local community, but also to my suppliers who I buy from. I get nothing but compliments from people who have been in my industry a lot longer than me. I’m talking decades. They compliment me on how well I’ve built my brand, which is a nice compliment to hear. I’ve even had people reach out eight years after giving them some swag because of the quality of that swag that I gave to them. What we offer is a service which helps you acquire promotional products and customized merchandise with your logo and brand on it, whether you’re using this for trade show giveaways, booth setups, employee outfitting, or even refilling a retail store, we can help you out. We also have solutions for online e-commerce stores if clients want to pursue that route as well. Some secondary solutions we have for our clients are graphic design, brand consulting, kidding and fulfillment. If you’re looking to help launch your brand to the moon, make contact today!

What matters most to you? Why?
What matters to me most is getting my clients their merchandise on time for their events. This is because if they don’t have anything for their event, then the whole process becomes pointless. They want to make sure, at the trade show, for example, that their employees are all wearing the proper apparel, that they have their booths set up, and that they have all the giveaways necessary to make that event for them a success, to either gain leads or potentially hire new personnel. On a personal note, I really enjoy inspiring others as an entrepreneur, which is why I wrote my first book titled “What Kind of Impression Are You Leaving?”, which you can get on Amazon.
