Community Highlights: Meet Bogdan Boclinca of TNA SPORTS CORP

Today we’d like to introduce you to Bogdan Boclinca.

Hi Bogdan, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
Bogdan Boclinca – Building Sports Excellence from Tennis to Pickleball
I started my career in sports with a passion for competition and a vision to create opportunities for athletes to grow beyond their local limits. As a player, I won multiple California championships and tournaments in tennis between 2017 and 2019, which gave me firsthand insight into the dedication, discipline, and training needed to succeed at a high level.

In 2021, I founded TNA Tennis Academy in Folsom, California, with a focus on developing young players from ages 4 to 18 into high-level competitors. Our training combines European, South American, and U.S. tennis techniques, with a strong emphasis on injury prevention, performance, and discipline.

Today, TNA operates in three key California locations — Folsom, Irvine, Roseville, Walnut and El Dorado Hills — serving athletes from Northern to Southern California. Across all locations, we run structured programs from beginner development to elite tournament training. In just a few years, we’ve built a reputation for producing players who win tournaments, secure Division 1 and Division 2 college scholarships, and, in some cases, pursue professional careers.

As the academy grew, I saw another opportunity in the rapidly expanding sport of pickleball. In 2023, I launched Olympus Pickleball Company, not just as an equipment brand, but as a sports movement with international reach. We now operate in both the U.S. and Mexico, sponsor competitive athletes, and are developing new product lines that combine performance, style, and innovation.

Both TNA and Olympus share the same philosophy: investing in talent, building community, and delivering quality. Whether it’s a 10-year-old stepping on the court for the first time or a professional athlete preparing for a championship, my goal is to provide the environment, tools, and mindset they need to succeed.

Today, I lead TNA Sports Corp, the parent company for both brands, with a mission to expand our footprint globally, open doors for international athletes, and continue raising the standard for sports training and equipment.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
It definitely hasn’t been a completely smooth road. In building both TNA Tennis Academy and Olympus Pickleball, one of the biggest challenges was starting from scratch — no big sponsors, no inherited client base, just a vision and a lot of determination. In the early days, I was handling everything — coaching, marketing, logistics, and even court maintenance — while trying to grow the brand’s reputation in a competitive sports market.
Another challenge was expanding into multiple locations. Managing consistent quality and culture across Folsom, Irvine, and Roseville took a lot of systems, training, and trust in my team.

When launching Olympus Pickleball, the struggle was entering a saturated equipment market and differentiating ourselves. We had to innovate, build strong relationships, and focus on community, not just product sales.

But every challenge pushed me to be more resourceful, to adapt, and to think long-term. Those early struggles are exactly what built the foundation for the success we have today.

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about TNA SPORTS CORP?
TNA Tennis Academy is a high-performance training program for young athletes, ages 4 to 18, with locations in Folsom, Irvine, and Roseville, California. We specialize in developing players for competitive pathways — from local tournaments to NCAA Division 1 and Division 2 college scholarships, and even professional tennis. What sets us apart is our integrated coaching approach: we combine the best techniques from Europe, South America, and the United States, with a focus on injury prevention, mental strength, and athletic performance.
We’re known for producing results — our students consistently win tournaments, improve their rankings, and develop the discipline and work ethic that carries into all areas of their lives. We also have a strong international focus, sponsoring talented players from other countries to give them opportunities they wouldn’t otherwise have.

Our second brand, Olympus Pickleball Company, is an equipment and lifestyle brand with operations in both the U.S. and Mexico. We’re building it not just around paddles, but around community, competition, and style.

Brand-wise, I’m most proud that both TNA and Olympus were built from the ground up with no shortcuts — just dedication, quality, and trust. I want readers to know that whether you’re picking up a racket or paddle for the first time, or chasing a championship, our mission is to give you the tools, training, and mindset to succeed.

What matters most to you? Why?
What matters most to me is creating opportunities for athletes to reach their full potential, both on and off the court. Sports changed my life — they taught me discipline, resilience, and how to push beyond limits. I want to give that same experience to the next generation, whether they’re chasing a college scholarship, a professional career, or simply the confidence that comes from mastering a skill.
For me, it’s not just about winning trophies; it’s about building character, opening doors, and creating a community where hard work and dedication are valued. That’s the impact I want to leave behind.
