Today we’d like to introduce you to Asia Arnett.

Hi Asia, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
I started my entrepreneurial journey ten years ago when I opened my first business. I have always known from early on that I was destined to be wealthy and be my own boss. I didn’t know how or when it was my time but I just knew my wealth and time freedom was not going to happen if I only worked a 9-5. Growing up my family didn’t talk about business ownership or use this terminology, but I was raised around successful business owners. Once I figured out what I loved, I went for it. I used some savings and my 9-5 to fund my first business. My story is like most business owners starting out with shifts, pivots, and failures along the way. I had drive, passion and a great business concept but I was unclear who my ideal client was and wasted a lot of time and money selling to EVERYONE. I felt frustrated and defeated many times until I figured out how to strategize and plan. I learned who I should be selling too, implemented profitable growth and niche marketing strategies, which ultimately improved my business sales and brand recognition significantly. Within a couple of years, I was investing into my second business. Throughout this time of discovery, I made a ton of mistakes but I also figured out many things that have worked very well, in fact it placed me in a position to invest in a few more businesses from e-commerce to brick and mortar, all in different niches, ranging from culinary, Lounge to a vegan beauty brand. From all of my business success, I kept getting asked a lot of questions about business structure and brand development etc. I saw a demand for a service and hence the birth of my baby Next Level Niche™️

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
In the beginning it was a lot of shuffling. I was building a family, my catering business, working full time for LAUSD and at periods of time in school furthering my education for my business venture. It was definitely not easy and there were several days of feeling defeat. I was being pulled in many directions and had to figure how to level up the right way so I can be in full control of my schedule and obtain the true financial freedom I deserved. It took me longer to get to where I wanted to be because I didn’t have the guidance or funding to scale my brand. I had to wear a lot more hats because I couldn’t afford to hire a reliable team. Overall my biggest challenge was funding due to the niche I was in.

Are there any books, apps, podcasts or blogs that help you do your best?
Oh yes, one of my top books I reference too often is The Four Agreements by Don Miguel Ruiz, it truly changes your perspective and helps you to better understand the human experience and stay present. We are a very reactive society, if we all took the time to just master one agreement, it would be life-altering. Other books I love include, just to name a few, Sacred Woman by Queen Afua, Rich Dad Poor Dad by Robert Kiyosaki, The secret and Awakening your kundalini. I also highly recommend a daily dose of meditation (even just 2 minutes a day goes a long way) and daily journaling. Reading these books (or listening to audible version of the book) and morning rituals  keep me grounded, focused and give me clarity on everything I do.
