Check Out Sierra Jackson’s Story

Today we’d like to introduce you to Sierra Jackson.

Hi Sierra, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.

I went to the University of Central Oklahoma, where I studied Fashion Marketing and Business Sales. After college, life took me in a few different directions. I did The Bachelor and Bachelor in Paradise while living in Dallas, then eventually transitioned into the tech world and worked at OpenAI.
In the spring of 2024, I decided to leave corporate life and eventually made my way to Los Angeles. I now live in West LA with my puppy, Tucker, and I’m currently building a Korean-inspired skincare company for men, which is projected to launch in spring 2027.

My path definitely hasn’t been linear, but I think that’s what has made it so meaningful. I’ve had the opportunity to experience completely different industries and chapters of life, and each one has taught me something that has shaped who I am and what I’m building now.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?

The past few years have included a little bit of anything and everything. I was diagnosed with myasthenia gravis, went broke, and had to rely on the help of friends and family after leaving corporate America. I started a nonprofit and a clothing company that ultimately failed, and I lost a lot of money along the way. Although I was able to help a lot of people during that season, personally, I struggled tremendously.

I lost friendships, sold almost everything I owned, and had to turn down brand deals, events, and opportunities because of what I was going through. There were plenty of moments when leaving LA probably would have made more sense on paper, but I stayed and continued to trust God even when I couldn’t see how things were going to work out.

Then, in the fall of 2025, my life drastically changed for the better. Looking back now, I can see how much that difficult season changed me, humbled me, and strengthened my faith. I’m incredibly grateful for where I am today. Thank GOD!

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?

For a long time, a big part of what people knew me for was volunteering and helping the homeless community in Santa Monica. My faith is a huge part of who I am—I’m a woman of God, I love Jesus, and that foundation influences the way I try to live my life and the things I choose to pursue.

Right now, I’m building my own skincare company and we’re currently in the product development stage, with plans to launch in 2027. As exciting as that is, what I’m most proud of is actually my personal transformation over the last few years.

I think what sets me apart is my willingness to take risks and pursue the things I genuinely feel called to do, even when they don’t necessarily make sense to everyone else. Sometimes those risks work out, and sometimes they don’t. I’ve learned not to automatically view the things that don’t work out as defeats. I try to ask what I can learn from them, grow from the experience, and keep moving forward. I think being willing to bet on myself, pivot, learn, and try again has become one of my greatest strengths.

What has been the most important lesson you’ve learned along your journey?

Trust God. Pray, fast, read the Bible daily, and trust God. That has been the biggest lesson of my entire journey.

I genuinely would not be where I am today if it weren’t for Him and the people He placed in my life to support me along the way. I’ve also learned to remain generous, even during seasons when I may be struggling myself. Generosity has a way of returning to you, even if it comes back in a completely different form than you expected.

Stay grounded in your faith. Let people leave your life when they choose to leave. Don’t exhaust yourself trying to convince someone to stay, understand you, or recognize your value.

Know the truth of who God has called you to be, and live confidently in that. Everything else has a way of falling into place when you stop trying to control every outcome and start trusting Him with the bigger picture.
