Check Out Searra Rimes’s Story

Today we’d like to introduce you to Searra Rimes.

Hi Searra, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
In 2017, I was a passenger in a severe car accident. En route to the hospital, I died three times. Suddenly, the life I knew was no longer guaranteed. I had to relearn how to walk, how to talk, and how to live. At an age when most people are just beginning to discover who they are, I was learning how to put myself back together.

That experience changed me in ways I couldn’t have understood at the time. It taught me how fragile life can be, but it also how beautiful it can get. What I went through reshaped my understanding of life. It gave me a different perspective on the opportunity to live it with the freedom to discover who I am and what I am capable of becoming.

As I continued to grow, I found my way into modeling. Growing up in Mississippi, I learned to dream beyond what I could see around me. At 19, I moved to Los Angeles to meet a version of myself that I had not yet discovered. What started as a creative pursuit became a way to express myself, explore my identity, and discover the woman I wanted to become. I began to understand that my story wasn’t defined solely by what I had survived, but by what I chose to create in its aftermath.

I survived. I rebuilt. I dreamed bigger. And I’m still becoming Searra.

My goal is to turn my experiences into something that reaches beyond myself to remind others that even when life takes an unexpected turn, there is still room to grow, to create, to thrive, and to become someone you never imagined you could be.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Los Angeles introduced me to a world I had once only imagined, and modeling became one of the ways I learned to navigate it. What began as a creative pursuit gradually became something more personal. A space to explore my identity, challenge myself, and see beyond the circumstances that had once shaped my life. After my accident, my perspective on what it meant to be alive had fundamentally changed. Moving across the country at 19 was, in many ways, an extension of that realization: a willingness to experience life beyond what I knew and discover what I could make of it. The journey hasn’t unfolded exactly as I imagined. There have been uncertainties, sacrifices, and challenges as my world has expanded, I’ve remained connected to the country girl whose roots are still very much a part of who I am, long before I was exposed to the city lights and camera lenses. My experiences have shaped me, but they haven’t taken me away from myself.

Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
My journey into this industry has been shaped by experiences that extend far beyond modeling. It has taught me to navigate unfamiliar spaces while staying connected to where I come from. Surviving a life-altering accident as a teenager also changed the way I see the world. It gave me a deeper appreciation for the opportunity to experience life, take creative risks, and pursue the things that make me feel most like myself. I value individuality over fitting a mold, and I believe there is something powerful about allowing your background, experiences and personality to inform your art. Beyond modeling, I love creating space for myself and for others that expands in creative directions and into inspirational storytelling, using both my visual work and personal experiences to connect with others. Ultimately, I want to create art that makes people feel something, challenges conventional expectations, and encourages others to see possibility in their own stories.

Can you talk to us a bit about happiness and what makes you happy?
What makes me happy is the freedom to create, express myself, and experience life in a way that feels true to who I am. I love love in all its forms, the kind that makes you feel alive, music that moves your soul, and moments that make you forget about everything else for a while. Whether I’m modeling, creating art, traveling, or finding inspiration in the little things, I’m drawn to anything that makes me feel deeply connected to myself and the world around me. I find happiness in beauty, individuality, meaningful connections, and turning my experiences into something expressive and purposeful. After everything I’ve been through, I’ve learned not to take life for granted. I’m happiest when I’m growing, challenging myself, and falling in love with life all over again. For me, happiness is freedom, passion, creativity, music, love, and creating a life that feels authentically my own.
