Check Out Sasha Gary’s Story

Today we’d like to introduce you to Sasha Gary

Hi Sasha, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
I began working in Hollywood as part of my University internship. I was hired as a PA, quickly moved up to Producers Assistant for Bob Patterson starring Jason Alexander. I started casting game shows The Weakest Link with George Gray, American Idol, Star Search hosted by Arsenio Hall and a dating show called Cupid by Simon Cowell.

I was auditioning, writing, studying at IO West. Performing musical improve for a couple of years, did a year of stand up. I enjoyed it but it wasn’t my thing.

I am continuing to pitch my scripts, auditioning through the ups and downs of the business.

I also own my own business sharing my love of growing my own food with aeroponic gardening for the home. That’s my passion in health and wellness. I teach urban gardening to families to live more sustainably.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
It’s never been a smooth road, with many lessons along the way.

Slow times, rejections, strikes, shut down.

I learned to enjoy my life more, to surrender more, to live more in gratitude for everything I have and not focus on what I don’t. I am more humble than when I started. I love the journey more each day.

I focus on what I can control and that’s becoming the best version of myself.

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I am the LA cliche actress/writer/artist/gardener

My passion is comedy but I get lots of drama opportunities. I think it’s because I look serious and I am so funny!

I write screenplays for women, comedies, drama and holiday feature films with my writing partner. We love creating well developed women and men characters to create more opportunities for actors and writers like ourselves. I always write a part for myself.

I have a hobby of collecting driftwood from Venice Beach and Malibu and I treat it and turn it into beautiful art pieces for homes. It’s just fun. I love doing it. I love recycling our driftwood and turning it into its own natural beauty.

Tending to my gardening. Teaching kids at the Boys & Girls club how to do it and they take the food home.

I have a pretty fully life that I love.

What does success mean to you?
I think success is subjective. Success isn’t something you can hold onto. If you wake up each day in peace, contentment, feeling joyful. That is successful. Living your life on your terms, doing what you love. I am a big believer in financial success as well and how that can come in many revenue streams. As artists it’s imperative to have an abundant mindset and not limit yourself to one income stream. Let it all flow to you!

Pricing:

  • $500-900 gardens
  • $20-$250 driftwood art pieces
